Who's the chick interviewing? She's like 18 and asking if the "robot" was CG. CG? In 1979? Come on at least get an interviewer who's done some homework if they're not old enough to remember the time.
Buck Rogers is one of my favorite shows...it's got adventure, humor, suspense, a great story...everything that should be in a science fiction program. Gil seems like such a cool, down-to-earth guy..he's probably one of those guys who has such a good heart that he's that cool uncle you love to hang out with. Erin also seems just as good-natured. Her character is a great balance between Gil's gung-ho (but sometimes goofy) Buck and her gung-ho, no-nonsense Colonel Deering. A great female role model
Buck needs a remake, but REALLY updated with cool alien environments and alien creatures and zero gravity effects (no more artifical gravity". Imagine a remake of buck rogers with avatar level effects.
Hey, something that you may want to check out, there is a Facebook campaign to get Gil Gerard on The Big Bang Theory! That would be something, wouldn't it? :)
about gadgets, or conditions of normality. It's about dealing with what is in front of you. And being out of place is normal for extraordinary people. And thanks for all the laughs of seeing the future with 20th Century eyes.
Gil Gerard and Erin Gray, what more could you ask for? Everybody would like whose modern, but nostalgia isn't the point here, really. Sometimes I'd like to know there stories, because you get a psychological backlight of yourself as an audience member. I remember being a young teenager when all these TV shows and movies come out; kind of sets the pace of how I saw the world. I been on jet planes 6Xs in my life, and a few nights with a telescope.... but 'Buck' gave me a reminder that life isn't
