Well, the early Cure (1976-1980) was more post punk, and then they kinda went through a goth rock/dark wave phase, and have been alternating between dark wave and pop for the past 24 years, at least that's the way it looks to me. They're a real versatile band in that they can constantly shift styles so easily and it sounds good, no matter what.

Alright, don't call me man. And sorry, you're right their are 2 "My Bloody Valentines" and the new one sucks shit. And you said "now it's boring to me" pretty much the same thing. And The Killers are my favourite band, but I understand that most people don't like them cause they're kinda out-there but there music is great if you havemy taste.

nah ill still call you man, man. and when i said it was boring too me i meant in the sense that i have found better more interesting music. And I dont dislike the killers because of them being "out there". they are pretty normal rock actually. i sorta like one of their songs but overall they are a little too pop for my taste. bands that would be "out there" imo would be like sonic youth or massive attack and experimental stuff like that, which dont get me wrong is good but i think the fact that

Yeah, they are pretty pop, i know, There first and last albums were the most pop-like, but I think their lyrics are more important than the fact that you can also dance to their songs.

Well, the early Cure (1976-1980) was more post punk, and then they kinda went through a goth rock/dark wave phase, and have been alternating between dark wave and pop for the past 24 years, at least that's the way it looks to me. They're a real versatile band in that they can constantly shift styles so easily and it sounds good, no matter what.
