@kosmopolitisch if you watch interviews with miss Badu, you would see that most of her songs are tongue in cheek and every single one has an important message... no one can fully interpret another's art or say what they meant, only the artist can. . .everyone else gets to see it differently, which makes it even more of a work of art (to me) Badu came before Nneka, and they are both strong spiritual & intellectual women worth acknowledgement for how they express themselves creatively. much love
