This is SO stupid. If technology matters to you so much that it can drive you to depression and social isolation if your abused on it, I think you should reconsider your priorities. Further more, if someone does abuse you on it you should meet them in person and beat them up. Reality is the best weapon

I dont think cyberbullying should ever be taken seriously. if someone constantly sends you hate messages then ignore them because it is anonymous and that persons opinions dont matter. I mean really, its as if you teens make a big deal out of such small things. If someone sends you messages saying you re ugly, fat..etc, hmm let me think...BLOCK THAT PERSON OR TURN THE FUCKING COMPUTER OFF. @1967WEDway I was referring to a phenomenon in that, if no one shows any signs of being affected by it (because i believe there is no reason to) nothing will be done (because there is no reason to). This is not the same in saying, if one individual complains something will be done. What you implied is a false dichotomy. Now, i did agree with you, partially. Specifically about the part of not all teenagers caring.

Common decency on the internet? Well the internet is the internet and the way people talk on it shouldn't be limited. We got these "victims" committing suicide over mean words on the internet.. What needs to happen is their parents tell them that the world isn't going to cradle, love, and cherish them. If there are people who can't handle what is being said on the internet.. It's as simple as staying off of it. All they have to do is turn the computer off until they can get over it.
