The UN, the International Court of Justice are all manipulated by the USA. Such atrocities which Israel continues to carry out with impunity should be severely punished.
Accusations of "anti-Semitism" are today recognized as meaningless. The Talmud testifies to the Jewish attitude of Homicidal Jewish Racial Supremacy. Israel’s homicidal abuse of Palestinians and the MOSSAD admission on TV of Israel’s complicity in 9/11, has made anti-Semitism virtuous. The organization "Jews against Zionism.com" says Zionism is the cause of anti-Semitism therefore Jews must publically protest against Zionism to PROVE that their hands are clean of innocent blood.
he is right Israel is becoming a fassist state which l am shamed to say as a Turkish Jew l am a shamed l do not care if they say l am a self hating Jew, but this was wrong and it doesnt play well in the World
Most jews support homosexuality as long as it stays outa' Israel's turff, but I wish we could deport negroes and bugger boys over there in whole sale stock by the millions.Let Israel enjoy marxist negroes and bugger boy sodomy. I think ballon lips and pupic head hair would look good on Irael's blood lines. And how about that dark skin and wide, wide, wide noses!
Ethier way I oppose anything that is anti-white and this jew whistlie blower is still a liberal and internationalist, why a jew would turn on his own people is beyond me, I mean the murdious blood sucking Israelies are just following thier genetic code. The jew repoter should cash in on all that blood and death, it's his heritage! Just like a negroe trying to rape a white woman or elderly man or woman because god, they ugly critters and need to spice up their ugly race.
@incaayoub Ahmadinejad is sending mixed messages. He previously said that Israel should be wiped off the map. However you interpret that, even if its in the least horrific way, he wanted the country to no longer exist. Oh ya, btw, I agree with how Israel is using excessive force in Gaza, however, I do think that the international community needs to "keep an eye on Iran".
@fernandezramon21 I agree. But teh votes will start to count; at teh moment the only parties that wish to clamp down on it are racist. When this issue is taken up properly by the normal parties, then they will realise they have to do something about this. I am confident. Of course, there ill then be lots of whining Muslims saying they ar being discriminated against, that is their habit.
@fernandezramon21 Yes, it is ignored by most people because we have a very long tradition of liberal policies. That may have to change if people moving into the country i) insist on not integrating and ii) spread their racist, sexist, homophobic nonsense.
@fernandezramon21 Oh I see. I'm still a bit confused by "The Union Jack is turning yellow". The Muslims are not typically yellow - more often they are brown, black or white. Yes, there is a lot of concern about our liberal society letting in people who are not liberal, people that bring their illiberal, theistic bigotry into the UK. e.g. some want Sharia law, which has no place in a modern, tolerant and secular society. It is a problem but I think it will be resolved.
@fernandezramon21 of course I know about it. But what's your point? I didn't make Hong Kong a colony nor did I decide to return it to mainland China. AM I glad it was returned to China? Of course I am, it was a colony. Now, what's your point? Why is the Union Jack turning yellow? What does that mean?
@fernandezramon21 what ARE you talking about? Are you on drugs or drunk? What abusive people are now being abused? Who are "my people"? You talking about people that lived 100 years ago? I have as much in common with them as you do. Do me a favour - assume that I do not know WHAT you are talking about and explain your point clearly - thanks.
@fernandezramon21 Hmmm, not sure what your point is. I never colonised anyone. You have never been colonised. You are just whining about something that happened a long time ago. Why don't you stop complaining and do something useful? What does "the union jack is yellow these days mean"? Are you mental?
Lies. Just freakin' lies. The majority of the palestinians killed in the Gaza invasion were COMBATANTS DRESSED IN CIVILIAN CLOTHES, this was confirmed by Hamas and the other terrorist organizations themselves, who later altered their initial figures to match those of the IDF and other sources, recognizing as armed militia people who were at first counted as innnocent civilians.
@fernandezramon21 your right "very few casualties" operation cast lead=1450 palestinian civilians dead 380 were children under 5 in other words babies, israel the attacking force lost 4 soldiers from friendly fire, only an absolute moron would think that was unfair and call it a massacre. best wishes from a moron, oh! and by the way stop talking like a cock,it just makes you sound so fucking thick, bye bye
As a Native American I support exposing tyranny and lies of our governments. Through scholarship, independent media, and communications we can overcome these wars.
Keep building cultural bridges between the people that want peace. Thank you for your work.
@mmyjoanie - Well yeah... that's what's known as "writing a book", the difference between a good book, and a bad book, is that a good book cites sources and references.
So what rational and well referenced criticism do you have of this book then? And no calling it "bull" doesn't count...
And fuck off with all that "self-hating Jew" crap bla bla bla... we all heard it before. As Norman would say, even if it were true, it wouldn't matter, what's important is this: are his claims valid?
@mmyjoanie "I can write a report representing ANY point of view you would like represented"
Go ahead, I would like to read your report from Israel's point of view.
"It is tragic that Jews appear to turn on each other instead of those interested in their demise"
So it's not normal for people who share the same religion to 'turn on eachother'? If my neighbour kills someone and I know about it, I report him to the police. Simple as that. If you have a heart, you can't stay quiet about Gaza.
If every body in the world went back to where they where 2000 years ago the world would be a very different place. Countries like the U.S.A, Australia and South Africa would not exist for a start. What a stupid argument for the genocide of the whole Palestinian nation. I didn`t know that God was an estate agent. Did he fax the land ownership deeds down from heaven?
A well written and perfectly researched viewpoint of OP CAST LEAD. This book is a worthy addition to the Finkelstein library. Prepare to be 'Shocked by OR'. Well done Mr Finkelstein and i look forward to your next book.
@plaebslayer I was talking about after the Arab Israeli war r-tard. What the fuck are you talking about? The 2008 Lebaon conflict was a civil war douchebag. Israel and Egypt weren't involved. I believe you are talking about the 2006 or second Lebanon war and who cares about that? Wow, Egypt won once out of four wars and every time needed help for several other countries to beat one that has a smaller population and military than it's own.....what an accomplishment
@plaebslayer What the fuck are you talking about? I am an American.
The Egyptians NEVER kicked Israel off their land. As part of the treaty after the war, Israel gave the Siani peninsula back to Egypt and the Palistinians never beat Israel. The land given to them was part of a treaty. Get you shit straight
I saw many pictures and video over the years of what gaza goes threw It's a modern day version of killing most of the Indians in America or Aboriginals in Austraila or like what hitler did to a lesser degree.
Shame sad and evil I feel the same about Iraq and Afganistan too.
@lushfauna Well Hitler tryied to warn people about the treacherious jews and everything he said has come to pass, he wasn't a prophet he just connected the dots. It's always the jews.Whites should have killed every jewish banker and lawers in old Europe and their would hae been no need to flee to America and wipe the indains out.
I requested an article from Jerusalem Press that shows how Israel funded Hamas.
Beyond this, Hamas officials have stated that they accept the two-state solution based on the pre-June 1967 borders, which is essentially the international consensus. The ball is now in Israel's court...
@emahunn those boder agreements were nul-n-void as soon as the Arab Nations started the Yom Kippur War. When you lose a war 9 times out of 10 you lose land. Sad but true
@jparish62 said the 1967 borders were valid until the Arab nations lost the war & therefore lost the land.
THE JEWS LOST THEIR LAND 2,000 YEARS AGO IN A 'WAR' yet somehow you think it's OK for Israel to get their 2,000 year old land back through political means while the Palestinians have to accept they lost their land in a war a mere 60 years ago?
Do you see why the world thinks Americans & Jews have double standards and are totally unfair and unjust?
give it up. Pat is just a typical far-left Eurotroll lobbyist for Arabist and Islamist agenda - principally revolving around the destruction of Israel as it is a beacon of "imperialism."
Reframing history and censoring facts defines leftist thought. Don't call it antisemitic or else your a Zionist propagandist.
We all know Europeans are incapable of being antisemitic. Even though Britain has the highest # of antisemitic acts in the World...it's all lies. Invented by Israel.
If find the *all* quite interesting. Are those quotation marks? That is what I called slander.
Unfortunately, jew-hatred is very much part of islam, so it is not surprising that a large proportion of the muslim arabs are jew haters. It is part of their religion.
It is quite funny how the Left is so capable of apologizing and victimizing terrorism against Israel, yet condemn Israel for daring to protect its people. Pat does not expect the Palestinians to behave like human beings, while he expects Israel to literally kill itself and treat terrorism like no other country.
Israel is guilty of original sin and the Arabs are victims, innocent, innocent. Disgusting.
@ImNeilPatrickHarris Yes, the majority is clearly holding Israel to a different standard than the muslim arabs. This is because they do not expect the muslim arabs to act like civilized people.
Exactly. Notice Pat's gushing support for Hamas, claiming it is "democratically-elected" as if that somehow makes terrorist more legitimate.
It seems the Muslim and Arab world will also be held to an impossible low standard, and the Left will accuse anyone who criticizes it as being racist.
Of course, trolls like Pat who openly endorse Israel enemies - who are certified antisemites - cannot be accused of antisemitism, because we all know Europeans are incapable of being antisemitic.
@ImNeilPatrickHarris Nelson Mandela was not democratically elected. He committed terrorist acts against the State of South Africa, was caught and sentenced and spent 27 years in jail.
Whilst we abhor the fact that he supported terrorist acts, we nonetheless recognise that his was a cause that had a moral substance. His resort to terrorism was a *reaction* to in initial injustice - apartheid - and not merely violent actions because he was a sub-human person committed to violence.
Actually, Nelson Mandela was a gangster who robbed banks and trafficked women. He attacked and shut down progressive-anti apartheid movements (many found and run by ZIONISTS) through civil war, and then the ANC had a monopoly over the government during the 1994 negotiations.
The ANC, being the racist hateful party that it is, condemned SA to a cesspool. 1/5 of the white population (1 million people) fled in post-apartheid because of the discrimination. It is a reverse apartheid today.
@ImNeilPatrickHarris And I've not endorsed anyone. I'm merely giving the other side of the story. Only when Israel and Palestine both understands and sympathises with "the other side" will peace begin to approach.
Of course, Hamas is just the latest scapegoat for avoiding any peace agreement... before them it was all the fault of Fatah, and before them the PLO, and at some point Lebanon had to accept all the blame. Israel is blameless in all this, I suppose.
@whypatcondellisntfun "Hamas is just the latest scapegoat for avoiding any peace agreement..." How can you agree to peace with someone who wants your complete distruction? You did read the hamas charter didn't you? You do know that hamas has never renounced its charter, don't you? Then, how can you be so delusional to believe that hamas wants peace?
Hamas is the latest scapegoat? What? You so you don't endorse anyone, and then openly sympathize with Hamas. Fucking double talk. Hamas is an extension of Iranian foreign policy and is committed to the destruction of Israel. It would be truly insulted if someone were to say it was the "scapegoat."
Israel is the only country that has brought "confidence building measures." The Arabs need to win the affection of the Jews, not the other way around. We have nukes, they dont.
@ImNeilPatrickHarris I'm not sympathising with Hamas. I think they may have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, as Israel may have, and those responsible within both Hamas and Israel should be investigated and tried in a court of law if it is required. But that doesn't change that fact that Israel is using the illegal actions of others to cover it's brutal oppression and occupation of others.
Arabs live in Israel, do they need to "win the affection of Jews"? Isn't that racism?
@ImNeilPatrickHarris Oh dear. Have I failed to "win your affection"? What do I need to do to "win your affection"? Do I need to roll over and agree with everything you say in the hope that you will stop spouting childish one-liners which are in direct conflict with what I actually said? Is that how I should "win your affection"? Will that distract others from your plainly racist views about Arabs having to "win the affection" of Jews even in their own country (be it Israel or Palestine)?
@ImNeilPatrickHarris Why did Israel not make peace before Hamas grew so powerful? Hamas is clearly the fruit of Israels' oppression of Gaza and West Bank, you reap what you sow. If Israel had withdrawn from illegally occupied territory - or not occupied it in the first place! - Hamas would not now be a problem for Israel because the Palestinians wouldn't need to resist the ongoing illegal occupation.
What? Hamas grew independent of Israel, tard. Terrorism is terrorism. It is not a response to a plight any less than Al-Qaeda is a response to Saudi Arabia's "oppression of Arabia."
@bhigr Erm. Comments like "...they do not expect the muslim arabs to act like civilized people" is why I think you are a racist. Is it that you think that other people think Muslim Arabs are not civilized because that is how you think? If not, how do you think Muslim Arabs act?
@bhigr You said, I quote:- " It is just very difficult for a largely christian or non-religious society to understand this religious zealotry on the part of the muslim arabs in palestine"
This means that you think all the Muslim Arabs in Palestine are religious zealots.
Also, you said:- "The so called palestinians are waging war against any jewish settler. Therefore, they mast be partitioned from the muslim arab"
So all Muslim Arabs must be partitioned from *illegal* settlers?
Funny how you rely on generalization strawmans, deflecting any criticism of the Palestinian leadership as "but not all Palestinians are terrorists blah blah blah", yet have no problem collectively condemning all of Israel.
The reality is the Palestinians have their own representation, and those representation makes leadership decisions on behalf of the Palestinian people.
Sooner or later Europe must demand the Palestinians to behave like human beings.
@ImNeilPatrickHarris I'm condemning the State of Israel for it's actions, not the people of Israel. The State of Israel has international obligations to meet, such as the withdrawal of illegal occupation forces and settlers. It can do this without having to ask permission from Israeli citizens.
But your own language is telling, yet again. Europe must demand that Palestinians (I presume you mean all of them!) must "behave like human beings". You think all Palestinians are sub-human?
I'm really done educating you, but just so you know Israel is under no legal obligation to withdraw from any part of the WB, Golan, Sinai, or Gaza unilaterally. Israel agreed only to a negotiated peace, and peace for withdrawal. That is what the whole peace process is predicated on.
Aggressors get occupied. Kashmir is occupied. Chechnya is occupied. Tibet is occupied. The status of the "occupation" itself is disputed by the WB was never sovereign to begin with.
@whypatcondellisntfun "This means that you think all the Muslim Arabs in Palestine are religious zealots." No, this is what you put into my mouth and I actually clarified myself on your request. This just shows that you prefer slandering your opponents if you have no arguments.
@ImNeilPatrickHarris He has never denied the holocaust. In fact he acknowledges it in that both his father and mother were killed in concentration camps, along with most of the members of his family. Show some respect.
@ImNeilPatrickHarris Actually my apologies they weren't killed, they were tortured and held against their will, however many members of his father and mother's families were killed.
I am a Surgeon from Gaza and lived through the whole thing and I can honestly tell you that the IDF went crazy in the last war on Gaza. We were used to their hostility before with their land incursions and air strikes, but nothing even close the last aggression. We weer,to them, brutes that needed extermination. I consider myself a moderate Palestinian and have always apposed violence and hate. However, now, after what I've seen and been through. I really hate those mad Zionists.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
The "numbers comparison" argument is ridiculous - Israeli civilians' lives were saved due to Israeli protection measures (shelters, alarm system). Palestinian civilians were not protected, on the contrary - sacrificed by Hamas to gain points on the ground and in the media.
Whoever says that this was a massacre (Finkelstein) is very smart. But whoever thinks that this was a "massacre" is an idiot.
@antifunki Yeah right, that is one of the quasi-smart defenses of the indefensible actions. Just read Goldstone report or Finkelsteins new book. Or isn't that part of your home schooling curriculum?
@proudisraeli1 isralehas become what it hated the most. from victims to the heavy weight champs of violence. Once again... Israel is right and all the NON anti- semetic groups and peace loving people are wrong- again. Heil Israel. There are none so blind as those who dont wish to see.
love the video but some of the comments posted here are ignorant and hateful..those who dare say hitler was right are disgusting human beings..but yeah..greatful for the video. thanks!
Why doesn't israel just obey international law for once in 40 years?!
When israel builds cities for Jews on Palestinian land and ignores international law and human rights everyday, what do you expect? Palestinians to say: "Oh yeah, here Russian Jew that just stepped off the boat - Here, take my land and make me homeless and jobless. Kill my children with your fancy phosphorus bombs - its cool...
Israel was formed by Jewish terrorists (Irgun, LETI, Stern Gang) against the British and Arab civilians. Women and children were massacred, and the land was ethnically cleansed - destroying over 500 arab villages inside Israel proper. So when you have a criminal enterprise like Obama never dreamed, how can you expect their sons and daughters to be reasonable?
sad little nazis on this site, they don't think Gazans bleed, I hope they get shot through the bollocks, they are probably zionist jews - Hamas were elected you dumb fucks, it doesn't matetr what or who they are, they represent the people whether you like it or not, death to Israel, Hitler was right
Everybody agrees on the terms for resolving the conflict? Well, Hamas solution is the desctruction of Israel. It's spelled out in the Hamas charter. I find it highly improbable that Israel agrees to being destroyed...
This is first and foremost a religious conflict. It is a clash between a democratic society and a theocratic society, the occupied territories ruled by Hamas....
Are Hamas soldiers using women and children as human shields? Yes! Is Hamas using women and children as suicide bombers? Yes. Is Hamas actually making the civilian population participate in the war? Yes Then, who is responsible if the war is carried to the civilian population? Hamas!
What do you do with a child who shoots at you? You shoot back!
first of all Hamas is willing to go back to the 1967 borders and accept Israel as a state but Palestine should alos be reconized. It has also been proven that it was the IDF that used Palestinians as human shields during Operation Cast Lead. The world is waking up and your talking points no longer fly. When you are a people under occupation what do you do? You resist
Well, then please read the hamas charter. You can google it on the internet. Or read the article about hamas on wikipedia. It is clearly spelled out that hamas wants to completely destroy Israel... look for hamas on youtube. You will find videos proving how hamas is using its own children for warfare.
You go back and read the Goldstone report. Read Amnesty International Report on Operation Cast Lead. Hamas is will to accept the 1967 borders that is fact. Hamas was democratically elected the US and Israel need to negotiate withe the democratically elected government if it truly stands for democracy
Well, then let me quote the charter and provide the link to the readers:
Article Thirteen: Peaceful Solutions, [Peace] Initiatives and International Conferences
[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement. For renouncing any part of Palestine means renouncing part of the religion;...
this has nothing to do with religion. it is about land grab the Zionist want the land and want to drive out the Palestinians. If Hamas accepts the statement about an Israeli state what happens with the chance of a Palestinian State.
It definitely has to do with religion. You should really read the constitution of hamas, its charter. This is how it starts:
The Charter of Allah: The Platform of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate .... Surat Al-Imran (III), verses 109-111 Israel will rise and will remain erect until Islam eliminates it as it had eliminated its predecessors.
Israel will never have true security and safety while oppressing another people. International Humanitarian Law states that as long as the government of Israel is occupying the Palestinian Territories the Palestinians have the right to resist and defend themselves. You claim that Hamas wants the destruction of Israel but who is really the destroyer and who is being destroyed. Hamas might say it but Israel is doing it....A country with Nuclear Weapons cannot claim victim status...
@bhigr . Only documentation of the use of Human shields is the IDF using Palestinina civilians. There has been one death from suicide bombings in the past three years -- the IDF has killed over 2,000 Palis in that period. Israel requires all people to serve in the IDF -- is that not making the civilian population participate in war?
Oh no, this has been going on for decades. They even send their children on suicide-bombing-missions and call them shahid. They kill their own children.
As long as the majority of the arabs in palestine support hamas there cannot be peace with Israel. Let me repeat the Hamas charter,
Art. 13
"[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement..."
@bhigr . One suicide bombing death in three years. That is a fact. In that same period, the IDF has directly killed over 2,000 Palestinians. Also a fact.
Israel illegally occupies the W Bank and has an illegal blockade of gaza goin.g
Oh you should count all the israelis they have killed, whether by suicide bombins or rocket attacks. And please also count the arabs they have also killed...If we do this accounting, we should do it correctly!
@bhigr: According to B'Tselem, The Israeli Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, 1,070m Israeli were killed by Palestinians in the period 2000-2009, while Israel killed 6,750 Palestians.
And we are not counting all the Palis killed by the blockade and occupation, nor the 1,000 plus Lebanese killed in the summer of 2006 when israel bombed the crap out of that nation.
Oh, the blockade was inflicted by the palestinians upon themselves, since they continuously attacked Israel using rockets. So you should count those people on the side of hamas.... So restart counting, oh and please find out what part of the casualties were civilians or not. Last but not least, count those civilians casualties on the side of hamas, which resulted from the fact that hamas uses civilians as protection in warfare, then come back...
@bhigr. "...blockade was inflicted by the palestinians upon themselves" Talk about blame the victim. Israel murders Lebanese. Not their fault. Israel murders Gazans. Not their fault. Israel occupies W Bank. Not their fault. Israel has undeclared nukes and Iran doesn't -- we must stop Iran.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Well, the truth may hurt you, but there are many many proofs for hamas war crimes. Just start searching...
Hamas is a criminal islamic organization, which seeks to destroy Israel through terror and violence. This organization must be rejected by any decent person.
The israeli newspapers have already admitted that using human shields is IDF-war tactic. Check out how many civilian casualties result from IDF using civilians:
According to B'Tselem, The Israeli Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, 1,070m Israeli were killed by Palestinians in the period 2000-2009, while Israel killed 6,750 Palestians.
And we are not counting all the Palis killed by the blockade and occupation, nor the 1,000 plus Lebanese killed in the summer of 2006 when israel bombed the crap out of that nation.
Checkt out this video on youtube for hamas war criminal tactics:
Hamas Booby Trapped School and Zoo 11 Jan. 2009
You can find this video on youtube. In fact, if you merely search for hamas on youtube, you will find many many videos, which show that they do not even respect the lives of their own people..
u cant be for real, see all what they do is that they are protecting there lands! they have no army so what do u want them to fight with, stones? well they are already using them, but does stones can stand in the face of a tank? no! then what should they do?? sit down & let them criminals take everything they own & killing there families?? no, THEY FIGHT BACK with everything they have. so dont be pointing on Hamas & say they are responsible for these civilian looses.
I guess Israel should just take possesion of the Gaza Strip and West Bank then, hey? I mean, if it doesn't belong to anybody it must be a free-for-all? Of course, they might have a small matter of international law in the way. You know, the fact that Israel has agreed armistice lines? Or the legal inadmissibility of the acquisition of land by war?
Prior to the First World War, the area now known as the West Bank was under Ottoman rule as part of the province of Syria. At the 1920 San Remo conference, the victorious Allied powers allocated the area to the British Mandate of Palestine which included modern day Jordan and Israel.
@bhigr You are selective in your knowledge of history. Israel stakes it's declaration of independence upon documents such as the Balfour Declaration and the UN General Assembly Resolution 181. Resolution 181 set out territorial boundaries and responsibilities for Israel, which Israel has since chosen to ignore thereby making a mockery of the terms of it's own independence.
The 1948 Arab-Israeli War saw the establishment of Israel in parts of the former Mandate, while the territory known as the "West Bank" area was captured by Trans-Jordan. Since it then controlled the territory on both sides of the Jordan river, Trans-Jordan renamed itself Jordan in 1949.
So, the westbank belonged to the ottoman empire, then it elonged to Britains and finally it belonged to "transjordan". It never belonged tothe "Palestinians.
@bhigr The West Bank never belonged to either Britain or Jordan, it was designated as part of an Arab state by UN resolution 181 which Israel accepted freely. If I were to take your argument, who owns West Bank now? Not Britain nor Jordan. Perhaps Israel? If so, why does Israel seek to partition Jewish citizens of West Bank from the non-Jewish citizens? Is that not racist? Is that not apartheid? If, as the world agrees, Israel is actually occupying West Bank it should withdraw immediately.
...who owns West Bank now? Not Britain nor Jordan. That's right !Perhaps Israel? Yes
If so, why does Israel seek to partition Jewish citizens of West Bank from the non-Jewish citizens? The so called palestinians are waging war against any jewish settler. Therefore, they mast be partitioned from the muslim arabs - a more precise designation - in order to protect them..
...Is that not racist? Is that not apartheid? Yes muslim racism and apartheid, read the quran, 9:29!
@bhigr So. Let me get this straight. Israel owns West Bank and has decided to partition only Muslim Arabs from the rest of the population? There is so much falsehood in this comment. Firstly, the West Bank is universally recognised as being occupied by everyone by Israel. Under what legal agreement did Israel take control of West Bank from Jordan? The partition wall partitions Muslims, Christians, Atheists and who knows what else from Israel. So it is not just about Muslim Arabs at all.
@whypatcondellisntfun No, wrong Muslim Arabs decided to wage war against Israeli settlers, which led to the partition of muslims and jews in the west bank. Let me ask back: Under what "legal agreement" (in fact between which parties) do the palestinians (who are they?) take control of the west bank. Why should they take control of the west bank FROM JORDAN. You said Jordan never controlled the west bank. So now you stop making sense...
@bhigr The settlers are illegally occupying land which is not theirs to own. The Palestinians have the right to resist illegal occupation. The settlers (the clue is in the name!) are illegally settling. The Palestinians did not just start to "wage war", they are resisting an internationally recognised occupation of their land.
The West Bank always belonged to Palestine, and the UN General Assembly affirmed this in 1947 with Resolution 181 which was titled "Future government of Palestine"
@bhigr I said Jordan never owned the West Bank, but I concede that Jordan controlled it. Now. I have answered your question, why don't you answer mine?
I ask again, can you tell me of any mechanism by which Israel legally took control of West Bank?
Oh, so how do you "own" a country? How did the muslim arabs living in the west bank ever "own" the country, when it was never controlled by them? It was controlled by the ottoman empire, jordan and Israel. Muslim rulers actually took control of these territories by waging jihad, just like they are doing it today! But it was never ruled by "muslim palestinians"! Never!
@bhigr The Muslims have not been allowed to control it the West Bank because they are occupied. The French never stopped owning France, but there was a point in which they lost control of it, but the French Resistance - rightfully - opposed the occupation of France by Nazi Germany. West Bank is France. Guess what role Israel plays? It does not matter who controlled West Bank in the past. All that matters is who is the rightful owner now. And it is not Israel.
1. The french are actually a nation with a common culture, language and heritage. The muslim arabs are no nation. They are arabs just like the neighbouring egyptions.
2. The muslims living in palestine never ever ruled the disputed region. They were ruled by ottomans, brits, jordanians, egyptians... The french ruled the area called france for centuries.
@bhigr You are not comparing like with like. Clearly, there are a group of people, with a common language, culture and heritage who consider themselves to be Palestinians, in the way that the Welsh consider themselves to be Welsh. One can be part of a larger country - such as Ottoman Turkey - and still consider yourself to be a Palestinian. I understand that the Palestinians never ruled their region, that does not make them not Palestinian, that makes them victims of successive imperialism!
"Clearly, there are a group of people, with a common language, culture and heritage who consider themselves to be Palestinians..."
This is simply not true. The common language is arabic, the common culture is arabian culture, the common heritage is Islam. They are muslim Arabs just like the jordanians, egyptians, saudis,... There is no palestinian people, it does not exist!
@bhigr I never said that the Palestinians own Israel, please don't put words into my mouth. Palestinians do however have a legal right to the land that they do own in Israel that is being illegally expropriated by the state of Israel. UN General Assembly Resolution 181 gave legitimacy to the independent State of Israel, but also to an independent Arab state, both within the confines of the British mandate of Palestine. One can be a citizen of Israel and still consider oneself Palestinian.
Yes one can be a citizen of Israel and at the same time a muslim Arab. However, one cannot be a citizen of the hamas occupied territories without being a muslim.
Israel has a large community of muslim Arab citizens enjoying equal rights with jewish and christian Israelis. The hamas controlled territories are being cleansed of christians and jews. They do not recognise equal rights for non-muslims in "their territories".
@bhigr Non-Jewish citizens do not enjoy equal rights with the Jewish Citizens of Israel. How many non-Jewish politicians has Israel ever had? Non-Jewish judges? Non-Jewish army officers? Non-Jewish police chiefs? How does this compare with the population of non-Jews as a whole? Additionally, I repeat, that some citizens of the West Bank do not enjoy equal rights with Israeli citizens, why, if the West Bank belongs to Israel? Is it OK that the West Bank is walled off for all Israeli citizens?
Palestinian Arabs sat in the state's first parliamentary assembly; currently, 12 of The 120 members of the Israeli Parliament are Arab citizens, most representing Arab political parties, and one of Israel's Supreme Court judges is a Palestinian Arab..
So stop spreading falsehoods.
NOt A SINGLE JEW HAS ANY POLITICAL OR JUDICIAL AUTHORITY IN THE HAMAS OCCUPIED TERRITORIES, DIGG THAT!
@bhigr According to the CIA world factbook, Arabs make up at least 19% of the Israeli population, but only 10% of parliament, therefore, Arabs are vastly under-represented, why is that? The 2009 Israeli Democracy Index states that " and members of low-socio-economic groups. By contrast, Israels Jewish citizens are Jewish by religion and belong to socio-economic groups of higher status than those to which Arab citizens belong." So even an internal report shows Israeli Arabs are not equal!
@whypatcondellisntfun Well, if they are under represented, then they should make an effort to gain more seats at the next popular election. You gain seats in parliament by votes, not by anything else! They are equal citizens because they have equal rights. Jews do not have any rights in the hamas occupied territories, NONE!
@bhigr I think that the disparity between Jewish and non-Jewish political representation is not because of a lack of votes - if 19% of the population is Arab, you would expect roughly 19% of politicians to also be Arab. The issues are that Arabs are demonstrably less affluent and cannot fund political campaigns as well as Jewish citizens. Additionally, Arab citizens are not equally distributed around Israel but are focused in certain (poorer!). They also don't get an equal shot at education.
No, that is not true, because you will have muslims voting for jews and vice versa. People do not vote according to race or religion (muslim, jews) because people in general are not racist. They vote according to the political agenda such as liberal, conservative.... Your assumption is actually a form of racism!
@bhigr Just by saying something is not true, that does not make it so. Studies by the Israeli government show that Arab-Israelis are financially less well off, this is a barrier to electioneering. Studies also show that Arab-Israelis who refuse to serve in the IDF must suffer educationally as they must leave the country to get an education as university rules technically require one to have served in the IDF before qualifying for a course. Many jobs are advertised only for IDF verterans...
Muslims in any western country are less well off than their fellow citizens. This is true in India, Indonesia, as well as Europe and Israel. Any Israeli who refuses to serve for the army must suffer. It is an obligation on all Israelis. So this is no reason to whine and feel mistreated.
@bhigr I'm so glad we had this conversation. It's shown you up to be an ill-informed bigot. You appear to have retreated from the argument that Muslims are equal within Israel to accepting that they are not and proposing that because they are not equals anywhere else that that makes the State sponsored bigotry of Israel a legitimate activity. Serving in the IDF is not an obligation for Jews who claim to be doing religious studies, Israeli Arabs *are* legally exempt, though they suffer for it.
@bhigr ... therefore, the economic, political and military system is stacked against Arab-Israelis, and as I've said before, if by housing laws and evictions you exclude Arabs from certain parts of Jerusalem for instance, then you are necessarily impacting upon the the vote they make. If you can keep Arab-Israelis from being a strong political force in certain areas, then clearly you are limiting the impact they can have in local or national elections. It's not racist to point this out.
@bhigr Also, there are at least 12 Supreme Court judges in Israel, so if there is only one Arab amongst them, again, they are under-represented. It's like a company only hiring white people as CEOs and managers but saying that they have a single black receptionist so that means that they are an equal opportunity employer!
I've said nothing that is false and you have not actually shown that anything that I've said is false. This says more about your argument than about mine.
@bhigr As for Hamas. I'm not here to defend Hamas. Hamas clearly are not operating as we would expect a normal government to operate and this is partly because Israel do not allow them to do so. The State of Israel has no excuse, however, as it claims to be a democracy, but clearly treats non-Jews (Muslims, Christians, Druze, Atheists) as second class citizens.
@whypatcondellisntfun Hamas is responsible for what it does, no one else. Not Israel, not the USA not the EU. Hamas is responsible just like everyone else is responsible for his deeds. HAMAS is without the shadow of a doubt a criminal terrorist organisation. Sadly, the majority of muslims living in the disputed territories have supported HAMAS. They support the destruction of Israel and apartheid against christians and muslims. The Islamic term is DHIMMIS.
@bhigr There is no "disputed" territory on Earth. Either there is a legal authority to govern the land, or there is not. Israel has no legal authority to govern Gaza or West Bank. Hamas is guilty of terrorism, for sure. But for decades before Hamas was created Israel was illegally occupying land that does not belong to them. Hamas is a freely elected government, and ignoring that fact only reinforces the cycle of violence, which is fine with Israel as they have the most violent toys.
@whypatcondellisntfun OH yes, there have been disputed territories on earth and it has led to innumerable wars. HAMAS IS ILLEGALLY OCCUPYING THESE TERRITORIES. They have NO legitimacy to rule the area because they have no respect for human dignity and human rights, NONE. Therefore, Israel has more legitimacy to rule these areas than the criminal "palestinian authority" called HAMAS.
Since when? Israel didn't enter Gaza or the WB until 1967. For 20 years it was occupied by the Arab states.
Hamas is a freely elected government that has called for the total destruction of Israel and the elimination of its inhabitant. What, so Israel should sit there and allow themselves to be subject to pointless aggression?
We bomb countries thousands of miles away, we have no right to demand Israel to "negotiate" while we kill 1,000+ taliban a month.
now we everyone knows that usa and israel are the real terrorist , so what is the next step ?????????????

Accusations of "anti-Semitism" are today recognized as meaningless. The Talmud testifies to the Jewish attitude of Homicidal Jewish Racial Supremacy. Israel’s homicidal abuse of Palestinians and the MOSSAD admission on TV of Israel’s complicity in 9/11, has made anti-Semitism virtuous. The organization "Jews against Zionism.com" says Zionism is the cause of anti-Semitism therefore Jews must publically protest against Zionism to PROVE that their hands are clean of innocent blood.

@fernandezramon21 I agree. But teh votes will start to count; at teh moment the only parties that wish to clamp down on it are racist. When this issue is taken up properly by the normal parties, then they will realise they have to do something about this. I am confident. Of course, there ill then be lots of whining Muslims saying they ar being discriminated against, that is their habit.
blueray1969 11 months ago
@fernandezramon21 Yes, it is ignored by most people because we have a very long tradition of liberal policies. That may have to change if people moving into the country i) insist on not integrating and ii) spread their racist, sexist, homophobic nonsense.
blueray1969 11 months ago
@fernandezramon21 Oh I see. I'm still a bit confused by "The Union Jack is turning yellow". The Muslims are not typically yellow - more often they are brown, black or white. Yes, there is a lot of concern about our liberal society letting in people who are not liberal, people that bring their illiberal, theistic bigotry into the UK. e.g. some want Sharia law, which has no place in a modern, tolerant and secular society. It is a problem but I think it will be resolved.
blueray1969 11 months ago
@fernandezramon21 of course I know about it. But what's your point? I didn't make Hong Kong a colony nor did I decide to return it to mainland China. AM I glad it was returned to China? Of course I am, it was a colony. Now, what's your point? Why is the Union Jack turning yellow? What does that mean?
blueray1969 11 months ago

blueray1969 11 months ago
@fernandezramon21 Hmmm, not sure what your point is. I never colonised anyone. You have never been colonised. You are just whining about something that happened a long time ago.

Reframing history and censoring facts defines leftist thought. Don't call it antisemitic or else your a Zionist propagandist.
We all know Europeans are incapable of being antisemitic. Even though Britain has the highest # of antisemitic acts in the World...it's all lies. Invented by Israel.
ImNeilPatrickHarris 1 year ago
" *all* Muslim Arabs"
If find the *all* quite interesting. Are those quotation marks? That is what I called slander.
Unfortunately, jew-hatred is very much part of islam, so it is not surprising that a large proportion of the muslim arabs are jew haters. It is part of their religion.
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr
Disgusting.
ImNeilPatrickHarris 1 year ago
@ImNeilPatrickHarris Yes, the majority is clearly holding Israel to a different standard than the muslim arabs. This is because they do not expect the muslim arabs to act like civilized people.
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr
ImNeilPatrickHarris 1 year ago
@ImNeilPatrickHarris Nelson Mandela was not democratically elected. He committed terrorist acts against the State of South Africa, was caught and sentenced and spent 27 years in jail.
Whilst we abhor the fact that he supported terrorist acts, we nonetheless recognise that his was a cause that had a moral substance. His resort to terrorism was a *reaction* to in initial injustice - apartheid - and not merely violent actions because he was a sub-human person committed to violence.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
Actually, Nelson Mandela was a gangster who robbed banks and trafficked women. He attacked and shut down progressive-anti apartheid movements (many found and run by ZIONISTS) through civil war, and then the ANC had a monopoly over the government during the 1994 negotiations.
The ANC, being the racist hateful party that it is, condemned SA to a cesspool. 1/5 of the white population (1 million people) fled in post-apartheid because of the discrimination. It is a reverse apartheid today.
ImNeilPatrickHarris 1 year ago
@ImNeilPatrickHarris And I've not endorsed anyone. I'm merely giving the other side of the story. Only when Israel and Palestine both understands and sympathises with "the other side" will peace begin to approach.
Of course, Hamas is just the latest scapegoat for avoiding any peace agreement... before them it was all the fault of Fatah, and before them the PLO, and at some point Lebanon had to accept all the blame. Israel is blameless in all this, I suppose.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun "Hamas is just the latest scapegoat for avoiding any peace agreement..." How can you agree to peace with someone who wants your complete distruction? You did read the hamas charter didn't you? You do know that hamas has never renounced its charter, don't you? Then, how can you be so delusional to believe that hamas wants peace?
bhigr 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
ImNeilPatrickHarris 1 year ago
@ImNeilPatrickHarris I'm not sympathising with Hamas. I think they may have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, as Israel may have, and those responsible within both Hamas and Israel should be investigated and tried in a court of law if it is required. But that doesn't change that fact that Israel is using the illegal actions of others to cover it's brutal oppression and occupation of others.
Arabs live in Israel, do they need to "win the affection of Jews"? Isn't that racism?
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago

Do I need to roll over and agree with everything you say in the hope that you will stop spouting childish one-liners which are in direct conflict with what I actually said? Is that how I should "win your affection"? Will that distract others from your plainly racist views about Arabs having to "win the affection" of Jews even in their own country (be it Israel or Palestine)?
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
Hamas is a scapegoat? Lolz. Such a fail.
ImNeilPatrickHarris 1 year ago
@ImNeilPatrickHarris Why did Israel not make peace before Hamas grew so powerful? Hamas is clearly the fruit of Israels' oppression of Gaza and West Bank, you reap what you sow. If Israel had withdrawn from illegally occupied territory - or not occupied it in the first place! - Hamas would not now be a problem for Israel because the Palestinians wouldn't need to resist the ongoing illegal occupation.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
What? Hamas grew independent of Israel, tard. Terrorism is terrorism. It is not a response to a plight any less than Al-Qaeda is a response to Saudi Arabia's "oppression of Arabia."
Retard.
ImNeilPatrickHarris 1 year ago
@bhigr Erm. Comments like "...they do not expect the muslim arabs to act like civilized people" is why I think you are a racist. Is it that you think that other people think Muslim Arabs are not civilized because that is how you think? If not, how do you think Muslim Arabs act?
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@bhigr You said, I quote:- " It is just very difficult for a largely christian or non-religious society to understand this religious zealotry on the part of the muslim arabs in palestine"
This means that you think all the Muslim Arabs in Palestine are religious zealots.
Also, you said:- "The so called palestinians are waging war against any jewish settler. Therefore, they mast be partitioned from the muslim arab"
So all Muslim Arabs must be partitioned from *illegal* settlers?
Racist.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
ImNeilPatrickHarris 1 year ago
@ImNeilPatrickHarris I'm condemning the State of Israel for it's actions, not the people of Israel. The State of Israel has international obligations to meet, such as the withdrawal of illegal occupation forces and settlers. It can do this without having to ask permission from Israeli citizens.
But your own language is telling, yet again. Europe must demand that Palestinians (I presume you mean all of them!) must "behave like human beings". You think all Palestinians are sub-human?
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun

You resist
bjg0102 2 years ago
Well, then please read the hamas charter. You can google it on the internet. Or read the article about hamas on wikipedia. It is clearly spelled out that hamas wants to completely destroy Israel... look for hamas on youtube. You will find videos proving how hamas is using its own children for warfare.

You go back and read the Goldstone report. Read Amnesty International Report on Operation Cast Lead. Hamas is will to accept the 1967 borders that is fact. Hamas was democratically elected the US and Israel need to negotiate withe the democratically elected government if it truly stands for democracy

Well, then let me quote the charter and provide the link to the readers:

this has nothing to do with religion. it is about land grab the Zionist want the land and want to drive out the Palestinians. If Hamas accepts the statement about an Israeli state what happens with the chance of a Palestinian State.
bjg0102 2 years ago
It definitely has to do with religion. You should really read the constitution of hamas, its charter. This is how it starts:
The Charter of Allah: The Platform of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate .... Surat Al-Imran (III), verses 109-111 Israel will rise and will remain erect until Islam eliminates it as it had eliminated its predecessors.

oldjoe5 2 years ago
Israel will never have true security and safety while oppressing another people. International Humanitarian Law states that as long as the government of Israel is occupying the Palestinian Territories the Palestinians have the right to resist and defend themselves. You claim that Hamas wants the destruction of Israel but who is really the destroyer and who is being destroyed. Hamas might say it but Israel is doing it....A country with Nuclear Weapons cannot claim victim status...
bjg0102 2 years ago
@bhigr . Only documentation of the use of Human shields is the IDF using Palestinina civilians. There has been one death from suicide bombings in the past three years -- the IDF has killed over 2,000 Palis in that period. Israel requires all people to serve in the IDF -- is that not making the civilian population participate in war?
oldjoe5 2 years ago
Oh no, this has been going on for decades. They even send their children on suicide-bombing-missions and call them shahid. They kill their own children.
As long as the majority of the arabs in palestine support hamas there cannot be peace with Israel. Let me repeat the Hamas charter,
Art. 13
"[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement..."
bhigr 2 years ago
@bhigr . One suicide bombing death in three years. That is a fact. In that same period, the IDF has directly killed over 2,000 Palestinians. Also a fact.

@bhigr: According to B'Tselem, The Israeli Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, 1,070m Israeli were killed by Palestinians in the period 2000-2009, while Israel killed 6,750 Palestians.
And we are not counting all the Palis killed by the blockade and occupation, nor the 1,000 plus Lebanese killed in the summer of 2006 when israel bombed the crap out of that nation.
oldjoe5 2 years ago 2
Oh, the blockade was inflicted by the palestinians upon themselves, since they continuously attacked Israel using rockets. So you should count those people on the side of hamas.... So restart counting, oh and please find out what part of the casualties were civilians or not. Last but not least, count those civilians casualties on the side of hamas, which resulted from the fact that hamas uses civilians as protection in warfare, then come back...

Protecting "their land"? Who are them?
The so called palestinians?
when did it belong to them?

the Ottoman empire, .....
When did it belong to "them"?
bhigr 1 year ago
I guess Israel should just take possesion of the Gaza Strip and West Bank then, hey? I mean, if it doesn't belong to anybody it must be a free-for-all? Of course, they might have a small matter of international law in the way. You know, the fact that Israel has agreed armistice lines? Or the legal inadmissibility of the acquisition of land by war?
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
Prior to the First World War, the area now known as the West Bank was under Ottoman rule as part of the province of Syria. At the 1920 San Remo conference, the victorious Allied powers allocated the area to the British Mandate of Palestine which included modern day Jordan and Israel.
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr You are selective in your knowledge of history. Israel stakes it's declaration of independence upon documents such as the Balfour Declaration and the UN General Assembly Resolution 181. Resolution 181 set out territorial boundaries and responsibilities for Israel, which Israel has since chosen to ignore thereby making a mockery of the terms of it's own independence.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
It never belonged tothe "Palestinians.
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr The West Bank never belonged to either Britain or Jordan, it was designated as part of an Arab state by UN resolution 181 which Israel accepted freely. If I were to take your argument, who owns West Bank now? Not Britain nor Jordan. Perhaps Israel? If so, why does Israel seek to partition Jewish citizens of West Bank from the non-Jewish citizens? Is that not racist? Is that not apartheid? If, as the world agrees, Israel is actually occupying West Bank it should withdraw immediately.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
...who owns West Bank now? Not Britain nor Jordan. That's right !Perhaps Israel? Yes
If so, why does Israel seek to partition Jewish citizens of West Bank from the non-Jewish citizens? The so called palestinians are waging war against any jewish settler. Therefore, they mast be partitioned from the muslim arabs - a more precise designation - in order to protect them..
...Is that not racist? Is that not apartheid? Yes muslim racism and apartheid, read the quran, 9:29!
bhigr 1 year ago
So it is not just about Muslim Arabs at all.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun No, wrong Muslim Arabs decided to wage war against Israeli settlers, which led to the partition of muslims and jews in the west bank. Let me ask back: Under what "legal agreement" (in fact between which parties) do the palestinians (who are they?) take control of the west bank. Why should they take control of the west bank FROM JORDAN. You said Jordan never controlled the west bank. So now you stop making sense...
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr The settlers are illegally occupying land which is not theirs to own. The Palestinians have the right to resist illegal occupation. The settlers (the clue is in the name!) are illegally settling. The Palestinians did not just start to "wage war", they are resisting an internationally recognised occupation of their land.
The West Bank always belonged to Palestine, and the UN General Assembly affirmed this in 1947 with Resolution 181 which was titled "Future government of Palestine"
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@bhigr I said Jordan never owned the West Bank, but I concede that Jordan controlled it. Now. I have answered your question, why don't you answer mine?
I ask again, can you tell me of any mechanism by which Israel legally took control of West Bank?
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
Never!
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr The Muslims have not been allowed to control it the West Bank because they are occupied. The French never stopped owning France, but there was a point in which they lost control of it, but the French Resistance - rightfully - opposed the occupation of France by Nazi Germany. West Bank is France. Guess what role Israel plays? It does not matter who controlled West Bank in the past. All that matters is who is the rightful owner now. And it is not Israel.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun Well, there are two major differences:
So the "palestinians" do not "own" Israel!
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr You are not comparing like with like. Clearly, there are a group of people, with a common language, culture and heritage who consider themselves to be Palestinians, in the way that the Welsh consider themselves to be Welsh. One can be part of a larger country - such as Ottoman Turkey - and still consider yourself to be a Palestinian. I understand that the Palestinians never ruled their region, that does not make them not Palestinian, that makes them victims of successive imperialism!
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
"Clearly, there are a group of people, with a common language, culture and heritage who consider themselves to be Palestinians..."
This is simply not true. The common language is arabic, the common culture is arabian culture, the common heritage is Islam. They are muslim Arabs just like the jordanians, egyptians, saudis,... There is no palestinian people, it does not exist!
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr I never said that the Palestinians own Israel, please don't put words into my mouth. Palestinians do however have a legal right to the land that they do own in Israel that is being illegally expropriated by the state of Israel. UN General Assembly Resolution 181 gave legitimacy to the independent State of Israel, but also to an independent Arab state, both within the confines of the British mandate of Palestine. One can be a citizen of Israel and still consider oneself Palestinian.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
Yes one can be a citizen of Israel and at the same time a muslim Arab. However, one cannot be a citizen of the hamas occupied territories without being a muslim.
bhigr 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
Israel has a large community of muslim Arab citizens enjoying equal rights with jewish and christian Israelis. The hamas controlled territories are being cleansed of christians and jews. They do not recognise equal rights for non-muslims in "their territories".
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr Non-Jewish citizens do not enjoy equal rights with the Jewish Citizens of Israel. How many non-Jewish politicians has Israel ever had? Non-Jewish judges? Non-Jewish army officers? Non-Jewish police chiefs? How does this compare with the population of non-Jews as a whole? Additionally, I repeat, that some citizens of the West Bank do not enjoy equal rights with Israeli citizens, why, if the West Bank belongs to Israel? Is it OK that the West Bank is walled off for all Israeli citizens?
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
NOt A SINGLE JEW HAS ANY POLITICAL OR JUDICIAL AUTHORITY IN THE HAMAS OCCUPIED TERRITORIES, DIGG THAT!
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr According to the CIA world factbook, Arabs make up at least 19% of the Israeli population, but only 10% of parliament, therefore, Arabs are vastly under-represented, why is that? The 2009 Israeli Democracy Index states that " and members of low-socio-economic groups. By contrast, Israels Jewish citizens are Jewish by religion and belong to socio-economic groups of higher status than those to which Arab citizens belong." So even an internal report shows Israeli Arabs are not equal!
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun Well, if they are under represented, then they should make an effort to gain more seats at the next popular election. You gain seats in parliament by votes, not by anything else! They are equal citizens because they have equal rights. Jews do not have any rights in the hamas occupied territories, NONE!
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr I think that the disparity between Jewish and non-Jewish political representation is not because of a lack of votes - if 19% of the population is Arab, you would expect roughly 19% of politicians to also be Arab. The issues are that Arabs are demonstrably less affluent and cannot fund political campaigns as well as Jewish citizens. Additionally, Arab citizens are not equally distributed around Israel but are focused in certain (poorer!). They also don't get an equal shot at education.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
No, that is not true, because you will have muslims voting for jews and vice versa. People do not vote according to race or religion (muslim, jews) because people in general are not racist. They vote according to the political agenda such as liberal, conservative.... Your assumption is actually a form of racism!
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr Just by saying something is not true, that does not make it so. Studies by the Israeli government show that Arab-Israelis are financially less well off, this is a barrier to electioneering. Studies also show that Arab-Israelis who refuse to serve in the IDF must suffer educationally as they must leave the country to get an education as university rules technically require one to have served in the IDF before qualifying for a course. Many jobs are advertised only for IDF verterans...
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
Muslims in any western country are less well off than their fellow citizens. This is true in India, Indonesia, as well as Europe and Israel. Any Israeli who refuses to serve for the army must suffer. It is an obligation on all Israelis. So this is no reason to whine and feel mistreated.
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr I'm so glad we had this conversation. It's shown you up to be an ill-informed bigot. You appear to have retreated from the argument that Muslims are equal within Israel to accepting that they are not and proposing that because they are not equals anywhere else that that makes the State sponsored bigotry of Israel a legitimate activity. Serving in the IDF is not an obligation for Jews who claim to be doing religious studies, Israeli Arabs *are* legally exempt, though they suffer for it.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
"Serving in the IDF is not an obligation for Jews who claim to be doing religious studies.."
Do you care to back up your propositions with evidence?
What are you complaining about? That Arabs are exempt from the draft? Isn't that a privilege?
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr ... therefore, the economic, political and military system is stacked against Arab-Israelis, and as I've said before, if by housing laws and evictions you exclude Arabs from certain parts of Jerusalem for instance, then you are necessarily impacting upon the the vote they make. If you can keep Arab-Israelis from being a strong political force in certain areas, then clearly you are limiting the impact they can have in local or national elections. It's not racist to point this out.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@bhigr Also, there are at least 12 Supreme Court judges in Israel, so if there is only one Arab amongst them, again, they are under-represented. It's like a company only hiring white people as CEOs and managers but saying that they have a single black receptionist so that means that they are an equal opportunity employer!
I've said nothing that is false and you have not actually shown that anything that I've said is false. This says more about your argument than about mine.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@bhigr As for Hamas. I'm not here to defend Hamas. Hamas clearly are not operating as we would expect a normal government to operate and this is partly because Israel do not allow them to do so. The State of Israel has no excuse, however, as it claims to be a democracy, but clearly treats non-Jews (Muslims, Christians, Druze, Atheists) as second class citizens.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun Hamas is responsible for what it does, no one else. Not Israel, not the USA not the EU. Hamas is responsible just like everyone else is responsible for his deeds. HAMAS is without the shadow of a doubt a criminal terrorist organisation. Sadly, the majority of muslims living in the disputed territories have supported HAMAS. They support the destruction of Israel and apartheid against christians and muslims. The Islamic term is DHIMMIS.
bhigr 1 year ago
@bhigr There is no "disputed" territory on Earth. Either there is a legal authority to govern the land, or there is not. Israel has no legal authority to govern Gaza or West Bank. Hamas is guilty of terrorism, for sure. But for decades before Hamas was created Israel was illegally occupying land that does not belong to them. Hamas is a freely elected government, and ignoring that fact only reinforces the cycle of violence, which is fine with Israel as they have the most violent toys.
whypatcondellisntfun 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun OH yes, there have been disputed territories on earth and it has led to innumerable wars. HAMAS IS ILLEGALLY OCCUPYING THESE TERRITORIES. They have NO legitimacy to rule the area because they have no respect for human dignity and human rights, NONE. Therefore, Israel has more legitimacy to rule these areas than the criminal "palestinian authority" called HAMAS.
bhigr 1 year ago
@whypatcondellisntfun
