you know, twisting the throttle like that while trying to start it will just flood it, no wonder you have such a hard time trying to get it started. in future, choke on; no throttle; press starter button. cold has very little to do with it.
@MABELtheINFERNAL Not exactly true. I’ve been riding bikes for the last 24 years and from my experience these old CB’s are notorious for being cold blooded. Could it use a fine tuning? Probably. But thanks for your opinion though.
I agree with @MABELtheINFERNAL. My 70's CBs won't fire if the throttle is open more than a hair. Once it's fired, then I can open it up a bit to get it warm.

My 400Four Starts allways with the first kick! Never had problems to start her like here in the video. Nice bike indeed!!

The top yokes,are they a one off,or from another bike,and btw who built it for you?

@mrblushy The top yoke is a stock 400f yoke with the handle bar clamps filed down and polished.
The bike was built by Twinline Motorcycles here in Seattle

Yes. But I had the bike professionally built and it's now long gone. So I can't remember what size jets were used. Sorry.
