tera melos, maps and atlases, hella, by the end of tonight and ? ! and just math rock in general is one of the few genres that can give the feeling of what i call musical honesty and really make something that can represents humanity and the emotions we feel in every day life...with out this music i would have never found out what life is to me...just to be happy and live life at the fullest.

Yeah, that's mostly what you have to do. It's sort of half and half, and depends on the person. There are certain beats that I'm just used to feeling and make complete sense to me, but sometimes I have to work out the time signature to get into the feel of it better, or break it down.
