  • Its the fucking Illimunati...

  • Wait, so what is so bad about this. There was nothing hidden in the message but a logo. It was just a error/ glitch.

  • @AlmightyGameGuy If it were, there's no way that the mistake would have lasted a quarter of a second... Theres no way someone can realize that they did that, and then take it off a quarter second later in the channel station network

  • @aFedosov Ok, so if it was meant to be subliminal, what is so bad about, purposely or accidently. It’s not like there was a hidden triangle in the logo and nothing could possibly corrupt the minds of millions because of it. BOO, McDonalds it soooooo subliminal. NOT!

  • @AlmightyGameGuy I never said that it was subliminal either... Take it easy please.

  • obvious technical error. the same graphic is seen at the beginning on the top left corner. if this was subliminal advertising, they'd need to be more consistent. one single frame of the golden arches cannot be more affective than a continuous 3 or 4 second showing of the graphic as an endorsement on the top left corner. this is the problem with people today. take one issue(subliminal messaging) and apply it to everything without using critical thought.

  • @zackhanscom Subliminal means sensory stimuli below an individuals threshold for conscious perception. If you show something for 4 seconds, it is not subliminal. This IS subliminal.

  • @babymalai People who fall for ads are fucking morons who deserves to be exploited, i won't live like some fucking hippie simply because McDonald's tricks some fatty into buying another big mac.

  • Wow! Look at you! This is an amazing channel! Also truly fun!! Let's stay in touch. Visit me sometimes!

  • was it even proven that theese subminial messages work?

  • How can that even work for TV viewers if you need 1/15 slow motion to see it lol.

  • it makes sense, u got food cooking people toasting, you hungry, u think of what to eat and that pops up, then u think wtf mcdonnalds?.............. ima get some mcdonnalds.

  • i paused and saw the picture

  • maybe he's just subliminal advertising Dish Television!!!!!!!!

  • man i coukd go for a fish o filet, or a southern chicken sandwich, or a juicy big mac or some crispy, golden fries, great for a picnic or a quick meal, mcdonalds is your go-to restarunt for any occasion

  • i want a big mac right fucking now

    BITCH!

  • big deal

  • how does this affect our minds. first time i didnt even see it.

  • @waffleriddle It affects your mind the most when you don't see it.

  • Yes subliminals are illegal. Do we have to have a video task force to protect us from every invasion of our minds, We're so flooded with info; our minds should explode ad nauseum. I think we pretty much have built in safegaurds. OK

  • i ... am ... lovin ... IT... what the hell

  • Aren't subliminal messages illegal?

  • YEAH???

  • Ugh...McDonald's fails.

  • fuck now i really want some mcdoubles

  • that sucks

  • anyone in the mood for mcdonalds now?

  • @looney1023 yes

  • well iron chef is one of my favorite shows and i dont eat mickey d's...so sub msg's dont work on everybody

  • I'm loving it! How about a nice burger with fries right now?

  • Saw it the second time. Nice!

  • i love how they still put the TM symbol in it

  • no duh. it means trademark, which in itself means if you use the same name or symbol, they will rip you a new ass.

  • He knows what a trademark is...its just funny that they would use it in an ad that people arnt supposed to consiously see. I would have totally subconsiously taken over mcdonalds if they hadnt used it...

  • haha me too

  • omg i saw it!

  • i saw it the 1st time easy

  • Too bad there isn't really such a thing as effective "subliminal" advertising. If it's below the level of the conscious there isn't much going on.

  • Completely false. Do some research, it is very effective.

  • Everything has a direct relationship to our subconsious minds. Everything.

  • if you know anything about film or television, there is not 15 frames per second. there is exactly 29.97 frames per second.

  • u were on news!!!

  • Twice I dreamed that a voice said "buy a Subaru Outback" really loud. The next I looked at the car and I don't even like it and it's out of my price range. It must have been subliminal because I had no intention of buying one.

  • ok shaky camera

  • Food network rox!!!

  • You are on the news!

  • I got dizzy watching all these subliminal messages. I mute commericals and never watch them..and somehow they make thier way into our heads. Like the pop ups that you can scroll down and they follow you until you look at it and [X]it 5fucking stars!

  • Holy frick, that's amazing.

  • omg

  • wow, somehow, i suddenly have a craving for a big mac with two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, Cheese, pickles and unions on a sesame seed bun.

  • Cmed1970!

Yes, maybe you like supporting a corporation who let big farmers beat out small farmers with small opportunities to survive.

I can imagine how you sit there with your Apple-computer, crunching on your little burger, while McDonalds (and other big foodchains) keep on underpaying employees that have no major laborrights.

    No thanks to McDonalds!

  • i was being facetious. i was acting as if the subliminal advertisement was hypnotizing me and making me crave mcdonalds. sorry if i was unclear on my sarcasm. and how'd you guess on my having an Apple computer? mcdonalds really is crappy.

  • Cmed1970!

There are a lot of advertising people that suddenly becomes sarcastic when their companies in some way tends to be associated with the striking reality.

Sorry if I have to say it; I'm not here for making commercials for anyone.

  • disanAPP, you get no points for missing the amusing and light-hearted nature of Cmed1970's comment. I smirked at it. Also, you come across as a very angry arts-student-who-whinges-about-everything-to-people-who-have-nothing-to-do-with-it type.

Even more importantly, you missed the opportunity to bag Cmed 1970 for saying he felt like a burger with 'pickles and UNIONS' on a sesame seed bun. Hmm, unions...

  • Actually, I'm going to ask for my next cheeseburger with unions.

  • thekowboy!

This was a funny one. I'm neither trying to get any points nor "bag" anybody and I'm not even any angry arts-student...whatever. And I have no problems with undderstanding irony and sarchasms. But OK, I can accept your prejudiced contribution, for a while. Maybe.

Thankd a lot for not trying to know me as a person!

  • fast food is only for peps who cant afford anythng more than a doller lol

  • Doesn't work on me...I hate Mcdonalds and will never eat there no matter how many subliminal messages they try and cram into my brain...lol

  • true its unhealthy and gross

  • I don't like mcdonalds either! They are all over the place! They need to go on somewhere.

  • so fuck off 900190019001

  • erm nope INSIDE EDITION KNOWS IT!

  • big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac big mac

  • must buy big mac and fries

  • 9001 is a puppet.

  • no it isnt fool it was a technical error the place was right next to little barf burgers restraut and the radio signals accidently were avritised there!!!

  • wow, talk about denial, 900190019001.

this isn't fake, McDonalds even admitted it.

  • If you can see it played in realtime, then its not subliminal, even if its one frame, it aint subliminal, McDonalds, will have known this. So the there is the question, why'd they do it? Food for thought!!!

  • They should partner with the people who made my video. It would help them on the right track 'healthier' success.

  • Here is another story about mcdonalds

I was watching this show called "Super Size Me".It was about this guy who ate nothing but mcdonalds for like a month i think.he gained like 10-20 pounds.he also found that there is sugar in almost all the food, even salad!I rarely go to mcdonalds.and have you ever noticed there chicken burgers don't feel like real chicken?like it was blended then smushed together?

  • wow i never saw that before and i watched that exact episode.

  • why would a famous company do that they already induce their damn products on us, and we already think that fast food is McDonalds by default... what the hell do they need subliminal messages for?!

  • Did someone say McDonalds? Like Pavlov's dogs I am now craving their MSG laced burgers. Watch them at McD's. right befire any item goes out they shake a dash of that magic powder onto the food. I think that's where the addictive chemical is added. No wonder some people eat there 3 meals a day. Junkies!

  • dish network dvrs are the best! lol

  • :O ugly bastards!!! komo nos dan paja :( y nos lavan la kabeza :(

  • This is real, Food Network claims it was a glitch,

  • Isn't that the starting frame of a McDonalds commercial that your DVR cut out? It's possible it missed the entire commercial and the clip is just a remainder.

  • ROFL

  • AHAHAHAHA

  • wow

  • I know McDonalds gets slack but their commercials are amusing, especially the 'how low can you go', plus their jingles are catchy.

  • People are fat and blame mcdonalds. LOL its so funny to me.

  • padappappap paa I'M LOVING IT!

  • those bastards

  • yuck mcdonald's is fuckin nasty...plus they have nothing for vegetarians to eat :P

  • not advertising them or nothing, but they actually do have food for vegetarians to eat. i was one myself.

  • Even the french fries have meat in them! (Some kind of beef powder.) And most of the salads have meat on them. The fruit and yogurt parfait has gelatin.

McDonalds is destroying the rainforests to grow cheap beef for their burgers --no one should eat there, ever!

  • what lol. french fries with meat in them? ha ha.

come on - i worked at mcdonalds so i know - the oil they use is sun seed oil - they have a vegi deli and vegi burger - if you dont like that they have salads - none of which have meat in otherwise it'd be false advertising and they could be sued. hoe many people would sue mcdonalds if they did that? they'd go out of buisness pretty quick. so.. makes more sense to be honest

however i do agree no-one should eat there - it sucks

  • shut up!let us have our fun

  • oh my god :S

  • who eats McDz anyway? idiots? actually i do ocassionally have chips and a burger once in a blue moon - but only idiots activily like mcdonalds.

  • fuck you

  • Move it to 28 seconds you can see it!

  • B.S. McDonalds would not do that to us!... Actually, Corporations Like McD's would. I'll try not to eat there again. But these subliminal messages keep screwing with my mind... I'll be back online later, going out to get a Big Mac... Dammit! See their message is working.. FUCK!

  • ya but i h8 mcdonnalds

  • Da Da Da Da Da, I MUST LOVE IT....

  • haha! That's great!

  • wtf mcdonalds get out of my brain!!!

  • The food variety that they had on the table had yellow and red together, preparing you for that. This is called IMC, without the frame thing, which I think advertisers are not allowed to do anymore. But, I think it could be a "mistake". According to what we learned in advertising class, there has to be an element of fear before the main message comes through. Anyway, this is all published knowledge, nothing sneaky or malicious.

  • i dont get it.

  • mcdonalds ads are, like, I'M NOT GOING TO MCDONALDS EVER AGAIN!

  • thats scary that they do things like that who nos wat they put into my shows everyday 0_0

  • Old Chicago pizza sounds really good right now

  • Dude!!!! You found it!!!!

  • Mmmmhhh Burger King!

  • Agh the bastards =I hate mcdonalds a total bunch of assholes greedy for money, but worse still they are using people, making them fat unhealthy etc, pisses me off...

  • It's funny they had to slap it on a show that looks like it actually had some healthy food!

  • Fucking corporate bastards! This does not surprise me at all! I sort of known that these (and certainly other) corporations have been pulling this shit all along!

  • hahah bastards

    hhahahahhaa

  • Subliminal advertising doesn't even work like that, it was a mistake in the video.

  • You wouldn't have a single frame mistake like that.

  • can i please use this vid for my school project.

  • HA DATS TIGHT!!

  • my freind says that she felt like mcdonalds, and after we watched the video she said she watched iron chef america for the past few weeks every day

  • Haha wow. I should really get a TiVo or something. Tsk Tsk McDonald's you suck.

  • I still don t eat that stuff. is it good?

  • i used to love it when i was little. (thats why im over weight now) but now i hate it and ive been losing alot of weight! and im not belimic >:)

  • still dont eat that stuff

  • You power of observation is impeccable! I want to

see the CEO's of McDonald's behind some bars for

this. I even saw your face on the News and read

that McDonald's "doesn't do subliminal messaging"

    What is this then???

  • i suddenly want mcdonalds O_O

  • I suddenly want to buy adobe premiere O_O

  • I suddenly want Taco Bell O_O

  • That joke dosn't work.

  • ......wow. That is really really screwed up

  • mcdonalds sucks at subliminal messaging, that was clearly visible.

  • Me and my buddy were watching tv on channel 24 which is the channel trailer park boys is on in canada anywayz all of a sudden in the right corner a small black square came on and it said cocaine and then went away a second later me and my buddy at like the same time said did u say that and were like it said cocaine and yea

  • TPB ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What it says?

  • Oh dear, guess I'll have to get the rifle out. Thanks for warning me.

  • thanks for adding this

  • holy shit, now that not right. Btw, once, some commercial was running on my tv. I wasnt looking directly at the screen but I cought another subliminal message, it ran in huge white letters on a black background and it said CANCER. I wonder if anyone else cought one like that.

  • the question is how did u catch this?

  • have you heard about the machines called dvr?? :)

  • TiVo. duh!

  • Yeah, fuck 'em. My neighbor has video footage of me

shutting down an overloud drivethrough with a scanner fed through PA horns. Sounds like the soundtrack from

Forbidden Planet instead of intelligible human speech.

That said, subliminal ads don't work. Fifteen second ads do. One frame simply isn't long enough to register in memory, or we'd all have been taught math that way.

  • Right, not Photoshop. Maybe After Effects using the motion tracking feature, :-)

  • Whether it's McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, or even Dunkin Donuts, I won't do business with them, main reason, slow SERVICE

  • Ba da da da da, subliminal

  • They're squeezing as much out of it as they can... one frame = lots of news stories. Personally I don't care how much they shout at me, I think their food is disgusting and haven't touched it in over 8 years. I know what's in it. Eugh.

  • who the fuck cares whats in it it tastes good so just freaking eat it your gonna die sooner or later so enjoy life

  • I enjoy eating real food... not shit.

  • i was about to say the same thing :)

  • It tastes like a salted lard sandwich.

  • lick it!!!

  • theres no problem with this type of advertising its just another method...i only buy fast food if theres an offer

  • Which itself is another form of advertising, very effective because it buys your loyalty.

  • whats the point of subliminal messages?

  • Well that wasn't subliminal. It was WAAYyyy too slow. that was maybe a 1/30 of a sec where subliminal things will last for about 1/100,000 of a sec and there'll be alot more of them. And what they basically do is the message gets buried in your subconscious. That one right there was obviously caught on a concious level, and wasn't subiminal.

  • 1/100,000 of a second? Are you fucking retarded? 1/30 of a second is about exactly the right length. no way you would be able to read something that flashed for 1/30 of a second.

  • your not suppose to acctually read it and notice it

  • The point is (and it works) to have an influence on those who are watching it. Since we actually don't KNOW that we see it (the "input" is too light to get it consciously), it's suggestive yet not seen as "another" ad. Pernicious publicity.

  • its a type of hypnosis, people added them into a tenth of a second where its soo fast, u cant see it, but your brain can. and they thought it persuaded you into wanting to buy the product

  • dude was it you on the news? well spotted lol

  • No it wasn't him it was other guy.

  • I hate McDonalds with a fiery passion to want to destroy it. No I'm not going overboard. I'm serious. I HATE fast food.

  • Working with TV and FIlm off-line editors for over 15 years... this clearly looks to me like a post-production glitch.

When your splicing and triming on a timeline, it is SO easy to overlook a single frame that you cut off from an earlier shot. The length of the clip is exactly 1/30th of a second, the exact length of measurement of standard frame editing.

The only thing subversive and shocking about this whole thing is that someone didn't catch it before it went to air.

  • They do that during movies at the movie theater as well during the previews for upcoming movies. They do a single frame of "Coca Cola" or M&M's or something, pretty soon, you're like: I'm thirsty and you go to get a soda.

  • what is this world coming to!!

  • This is really McDonalds interesting, these guys are cooking these nice McDonalds healthy meals and the sponsor is a fast food joint. I don't McDonalds get it. I MceDonalds enjoy Iron Chef America and the McDonalds judges are fun to McDonalds listen to.

  • OMG, I saw McDonalds name pop up several times in the above comment. Did anyone else notice it? You need to read the text frame-by-frame...

  • It's a freaking mistake! A few seconds earlier in the show it said "Sponsored by McDonalds" with the same logo. There's no reason for a subliminal message if it says it right out in the open.

  • ya....i met that guy in person (chef cantu) and saw this show that night

    he has awesome food

  • Hmm..Very Interesting. I believe it could be subliminal. I mean people do go very far to get stuff sold, although it could just be a technical error.

  • yva net nioj!! ahh, simpsons at it's best.
