obvious technical error. the same graphic is seen at the beginning on the top left corner. if this was subliminal advertising, they'd need to be more consistent. one single frame of the golden arches cannot be more affective than a continuous 3 or 4 second showing of the graphic as an endorsement on the top left corner. this is the problem with people today. take one issue(subliminal messaging) and apply it to everything without using critical thought.

The key fill was 1 frame longer than the key source, causing it to spill onto the rest of the screen until the next clip picks up on the timeline. Any editor can make this mistake, especially when snap to grid is off, or they're not zoomed in all the way.

Working with TV and FIlm off-line editors for over 15 years... this clearly looks to me like a post-production glitch.
When your splicing and triming on a timeline, it is SO easy to overlook a single frame that you cut off from an earlier shot. The length of the clip is exactly 1/30th of a second, the exact length of measurement of standard frame editing.
The only thing subversive and shocking about this whole thing is that someone didn't catch it before it went to air.
They do that during movies at the movie theater as well during the previews for upcoming movies. They do a single frame of "Coca Cola" or M&M's or something, pretty soon, you're like: I'm thirsty and you go to get a soda.
This is really McDonalds interesting, these guys are cooking these nice McDonalds healthy meals and the sponsor is a fast food joint. I don't McDonalds get it. I MceDonalds enjoy Iron Chef America and the McDonalds judges are fun to McDonalds listen to.
It's a freaking mistake! A few seconds earlier in the show it said "Sponsored by McDonalds" with the same logo. There's no reason for a subliminal message if it says it right out in the open.

holy shit, now that not right. Btw, once, some commercial was running on my tv. I wasnt looking directly at the screen but I cought another subliminal message, it ran in huge white letters on a black background and it said CANCER. I wonder if anyone else cought one like that.

That said, subliminal ads don't work. Fifteen second ads do. One frame simply isn't long enough to register in memory, or we'd all have been taught math that way.

Well that wasn't subliminal. It was WAAYyyy too slow. that was maybe a 1/30 of a sec where subliminal things will last for about 1/100,000 of a sec and there'll be alot more of them. And what they basically do is the message gets buried in your subconscious. That one right there was obviously caught on a concious level, and wasn't subiminal.

The point is (and it works) to have an influence on those who are watching it. Since we actually don't KNOW that we see it (the "input" is too light to get it consciously), it's suggestive yet not seen as "another" ad. Pernicious publicity.

Working with TV and FIlm off-line editors for over 15 years... this clearly looks to me like a post-production glitch.
When your splicing and triming on a timeline, it is SO easy to overlook a single frame that you cut off from an earlier shot. The length of the clip is exactly 1/30th of a second, the exact length of measurement of standard frame editing.
The only thing subversive and shocking about this whole thing is that someone didn't catch it before it went to air.

They do that during movies at the movie theater as well during the previews for upcoming movies. They do a single frame of "Coca Cola" or M&M's or something, pretty soon, you're like: I'm thirsty and you go to get a soda.

This is really McDonalds interesting, these guys are cooking these nice McDonalds healthy meals and the sponsor is a fast food joint. I don't McDonalds get it. I MceDonalds enjoy Iron Chef America and the McDonalds judges are fun to McDonalds listen to.

It's a freaking mistake! A few seconds earlier in the show it said "Sponsored by McDonalds" with the same logo. There's no reason for a subliminal message if it says it right out in the open.
