which vehicle are you talking about? the FJCruiser was designed to take on the mall, itwas NOT designed to be a third world workhorse and put up with the worlds harshest terrain, the Land Cruiser was, and if you use the "same basic"idea thing then that demonstrates your lackof knowledge on the new system and while electroics are bad on rovers the cruisers can still funtion when all systems are down unlike the rovers which interfer with the drivtrain and engine.
ive seen off roads of both, and i watch the video of the new land cruiser adaptive suspension, and i think its too complicated to work as well as the fj cruiser, and i think range range rovers brake based tc system would work better(suposing it dosen't have faulty wiring),and what i mean by the same basic idea is the use of a solid rear axle, with ifs.the one on the land cruier is just more advanced.
I get what you are saying but so far they are problem free, and while the cruiser has a great TC system I would think it could be equalliy matched with a rover system(i love the rover TC)but the rovers system id full of problems. And the rover cant get lockers or reliablity
glad to know what they do with their cars before selling them

that is a pretty color, but that thing cant articulate at all
landcruisers4life2 3 years ago
it has the same articulation as a stock toyota fj cruier!!!

thats because its an FJCruiser...not a Land Cruiser they share absolutly nothing. Its like calling a PT Cruiser a Land Cruiser!
landcruisers4life2 3 years ago
they do have pretty much the same suspension layout though(solid axles in the back, with ifs)so i doubt the land cruiser has more articulation
rangerover06sc 3 years ago
nope the cruiser has a completly different suspension setup, different IFS and different axle and it has KDSS and much more thought out design

different parts are used but the basic idea is the same, the newer system probably dosen't articulate as well as the fj cruier, too much electronics!!
