  • seymour was always a nerd, but rick did make it work. Except one thing he can't sing. I think music made this movie better. But I'm going to netflix to see this version then I'll judge.

  • Haha I heard that this film was a bet between two directors to see if they could shoot a film in one day XD

  • Movie trailers that tell the whole plot.

  • There's always a fainting person in a 1960s movie. I'm surprised there's no wilhelm scream.

  • Hard to believe this was shot in just two days as a "Filler" to take advantage of a set that they hadn't yet dismantled...and spawned a broadway musical and a big budget remake. A shame the new version eliminated the hypnosis angle, it makes you more sympathetic to Seymour...In the remake film, Seymour is fully responsible for all of his actions...and STILL they recut the ending to that sappy happy ending because of Test Audiences...Seymour didn't deserve a happy ending in the remake!

  • Horror novel see video book trailer

  • @glasssilhouette he was a bit of a nerd here, just way clumsier. Yes, I did love Rick Moranis.

  • I prefer Seymour to be a shy little nerd, like in all the musical versions. (Rick Moralis, anybody? <333)

  • @glasssilhouette Boy I can't beleaive the Seymour dosen't whare glasses in the 1960 film.

  • @glasssilhouette Actually, i like Rick Moranis in the part better.

  • This is better than any of that crap they make now, comedy or horror, that's for sure.

  • i love this movie, grew up on it and today i found the vhs but im glad youtube has the whole movie here. just incase.

  • awesome movie

  • it ended with Seymor going into the plant to kill it but the plant eats him then when audry comes in with some people and look at the plant dying and we see flower which has seymor's face on it

  • @J7282 So seymour utterley died?

  • Now, which ending did this one have?

  • This is the best version. Jack Nicholson was just hilarious as the dentist's patient.

  • You know I had no idea this was a movie before it was a Broadway Musical, then a movie again. I dont know if you know this , but my Favorite Movie era was from 1960 to 1966. alot of great films like Hud, and The Incident, and many many more.

  • My favorite B-Movie of all time!
