Eer... a significant, and I mean very significant difference is the firewire 800 port, and also the quality of the display. I own a late 08 aluminum model and that was an awkward fact.

@tjasko1 I would've sold you mine for $900 with 2 year warranty and with the backlit keyboard with 2.4GHz, 2GB of RAM and 250GB hard drive. I wanted to upgrade to the 15 inch Macbook Pro. But either way, you got a great computer.
