  • Music is F*&_*&n awesome. Don't change the recipie or the music. The world is filled with stupid critiques that don't know how to adjust volume levels. IDIOTS!

  • Thank you for recipe and music "have you ever been to American wedding its really fucking boring" ha!!!

  • filling recipe ? :(

  • deaalicia, great vid. and music is just fine, i love it. 4 people grew up under powerlines eating lead paint chips.

  • change sound please !!!!

  • What kind of idiot put this music to this video?

  • Thank you for making this Video! I made Potato Varenyky on my own two days ago, and I had the Dough alittle to thick, Now I know how to make them right, but over all the First batch I did was very tasty, I started getting a Craving for them after that! I am going to make more Today:). Thanks Again.

  • Horrible horrible music... that's ashame!!! Couldn't learn how to make pierogi's because of the noise!!!

  • I will be going with my husband to learn to make them with his Aunt and their family tomorrow. It is a big thing in their family. All my husband's uncles and aunt make them. Each a little different with different fillings my husband loves kraut and pork the best :)

I really, really enjoyed this video and like other people mentioned. It's great to see grandmothers passing down traditions! I plan to try to make them on my own. I love the video and feel more confident to try! Thank you!

  • ням-ням як смачно ))

  • My late Mom used to make varenyky and Lord I miss them. She used a dry farmer's cottage cheese, boiled them and served them up with a pyrex cup of melted butter. We were little so my Mom let us eat them with her homemade raspberry jam, sometimes strawberry. My brother and I would make a contest of seeing who could eat the most, something she loved! Borscht, cabbage rolls and other great stuff I need to learn to make.

  • you go mama Muah much love from alaska

  • Its good to see skills being handed down, so many times small bits and pieces of culture and life vanish forever.

  • Im part Ukrainian, & perogies are delish!

  • @bryz2034 The best, when Granddad makes them.

  • Cute video! Thanks for sharing! I've watched 4 videos on how to make pierogies today and all of them had music instead of talking - I was starting to wonder if something was happening with YouTube until I saw your comments and saw there was supposed to be music here. I want to try some with potatoes and sauerkraut instead of the cheese.

  • Babusya is awesome! The song too! Gogol zazhigaet ;)

  • Ground beef and onions?? That is sambosek. We are talking about the real old-fashioned fillings.

  • But still lush!!

  • i would not boil them, i would fry them.

  • stone, never fry them, allways boil them, once cooked garnish with bacon bits and fried onion and butter!! Brilliant, best dish in the world!!

  • i think they are awesome finger food when fried and watching movies and the bacon sounds like a great addition !

  • minced beef and onion are wicked too!!

  • you mean for a dip to dip the fried pierogies into?

  • no!! as a lovely filling!! ground fried beef and onions in pierogis are ace!! You have not lived!!

  • ok , gotta try it next time around .

  • My grandma came from the Ukraine. She always bolied her pierogis, but sometimes fried the leftovers in a pan with the leftover onions and butter. It's very good. I eat them with sliced tomato and bacon for breakfast sometimes. Or just normal with sourcream. Give it a try :)

  • Loved the music - who's the band? Love pierogis!

  • band is gogol bordello. grandmothers are always the best cooks!

  • looks interesting,so why add awful music.bye

  • Heard the annoying music at the start and clicked right off.

  • nasty looking pierogies! Sorry but flour & water only is NOT pierogi dough!

  • You're very rude. And mildly retarded.

  • thanks I just used your method!

  • grannie looks cool

  • I know what Imma going to be making to eat tomorrow!! XD
