@3627499 The narrator once loved when he was very young but she went and broke his heart and he took a long time to get over her. He finally found someone and married her and is settled with his wife. But then his past comes back to him and she (his old love) comes into his life again and he's not willing to make the same mistake again and he is happy now. He is older now, he is wiser now. And he doesn't want her in his life and to write him letters etc etc. He's moved on with his life.

I heard I shall believe on OTH too but during the first season when Lucas got into the car accident and Hailey was too scared to see him so Nathan went to help her :( There will never be another show like One Tree Hill. Idc how much faith people have in the future. The cast, the producers, Mark Schwahn- One in a Million.
