I don't see how any of their music is gothic because it requires too much talent to create to be labeled as such. Just sounds like Progressive Metal to me. Keep your gay trend shit away from this beautiful band. This album and all the previous ones are badass. I'll live for Therion till the fuckin end, man.
Ok... who sings the first few lines? I'm pretty sure it's snowy shaw for the best part of the song... I'm guessing it's probabely Matts Leven, though it doesn't sound all too much like his other vocals on the album, it couldn't be the drummer, could it? Apparently he did some vocals on the album...
As i Said in three treasures, this is not an album to listen once or twice and make a judgement about, it have so different musics, tha tit's hard to like tha tall in a sudden... Musics like Wand of abaris(my favourite), Des Misternacht lowe, Trul, Tune, Close up the Streams, the falling stones are still worth hearing... even more after the sitra ahra release.

And everybody knows that the biggest part of therion fans prefere their previous albuns, so they on Sitra Ahra, introduced again the choirs and the erudite sound, but with some progressive sound in Gothic Kabbalah...You may like it or not, i love both records! But my favourite is still Secret of the Runes, maybe no one will never do a record like Secret of the Runes :(
Sitra Ahra has just been released, and I'm alittle disappointed (so far). I haven't heard any song on it with the pure metal and madness this song has. Though the truth is that part of Therion's beauty and agony is how every album they release can be so polar different from the last.

@jezreel69laadan Therion changed their style already few times. They started as Blitzcrieg and played pure death metal because at the time the band couldn't afford good singers and good production studies. After they got some success they expanded their group and started doing gothic metal. Also Christopher clearly stated that he always planned the band evolving - which is why I like Therion - they never get boring - compared to Iron Maiden that play the same 5 riffs for 20 years already...
@Vrzwta Not that there is TOO big of a difference but they used to be more Black than Death metal. Theli is my absolute favorite album though. To Mega Therion is an amazing song.
isn't gothic kabbalah a recopilation of other songs made by other singers ? like , therion reworked other songs and made those songs better which now belong to the gothic kabbalah, more like a rip off. i still like it though ^^

For me the bests are Lemuria/Sirius B and Secret of the Runes,but i love Deggial,Gothic Kabbalah and Vovin too!! I can´t tell about Theli cause is the one i don´t have....but i love To-Megatherion!

They still have all that stuff, just not in every song. Adulruna Rediviva is particularly orchestral.

Gothic Kabbalah is a normal album the follow-up of Lemuria-Sirius B.
Both styles from therion are AWESOME,the old one is the best but the new is wonderful too!!
