Hey girl! I just rewatched this today for the first time in a couple of months, and I loved it just as much as I did the first time I saw it! Thanks for posting it!
Try putting this song as the background music for the scenes in Braveheart, Lord of the Rings Camelot/King Arthur movies as well. This song really suits any movie with medieval scenes.
I seem to remember: Fifth element Charlie's Angels Full Throttle Gladiator Last of the mohicans License to Kill Immortel Charlie's Angels Resident Evil Mortal Kombat Annihilation Blade Trinity Serenity Tomb Raider Xmen 2
awsome vid! i knew some of the movies. but what about the one near the start. the woman with the gun in the dark and she was running off something. i want to watch it.
very good, but some of those arent chick flicks. chick flicks are more sappy and "oh my god no she didnt" (you know what i mean, like wimpy teenage girl type). i dont think action movies are necessarily 'chick flicks'. lol.
Thanks for bringing this up. I bet many have laughed at me for this, it's time I clear it up:
It is meant to be a new use of the phrase.
All of these clips are of women, i.e., chicks. The word, flick, rhymes with chick and means movie. These are flicks of chicks, chick flicks.
Also, I hate the use of the phrase to mean, a movie a woman must like because it is so, as you appropriately titled it, sappy, because I am a woman, and I CANNOT STAND those movies. Honestly, a true CHICK FLICK
(as that phrase is popularly used today) for me is one with strong, handsome men doing heroic deeds. That's a movie THIS woman must like!
Basically, it's just the title I give these montages to distinguish them from most of my other ones, like Emendatus, or cells - dancing, which are tributes either to special effex and both genders, or strong men only.
So thank you for your post! You gave me the opportunity to show that it was out of IRONY and not IGNORANCE that I used this phrase.
-i agree with you. i usually only like those 'sappy' types if i am in need of a good cry which is usually one week out of the month.
-i sooo much prefer action movies. i love movies that have a strong women saving the day or doing something really cool cause it makes ME feel stronger and more proud to be a woman.
Thank you. I have many others. I just don't generally have the time to convert them and upload them, on top of doubts that anyone will care.
The inspiration for this one was that I had just finalized my umpteenth rendition of (likewise, Chick Flicks to) Jem's 24, and was looking for another graceful but not boring song to work with.
O M EFFIN G I L.O.V.E. 5TH ELEMENT AND PAIRED WITH THIS SONG IT MAKES THIS VID SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUSLY EPIC!

Thank you, very much. I really appreciate any feedback.
The movie is "Aeon Flux" with Charlize Theron.
It was really one of the films that inspired this collage.
