Hey, in all objectivity, these guys did play well. And like any performer, they were looking for their big break so I won't hold it against them. Unfortunately, the project was lame---they should have tried a different vehicle rather than what seemed a blatant attempt to usurp the originals. I'm a Monkees fan but I'm trying to be fair as well.

@MsTWOSPIRIT The Monkees label Colgems did not have a recording studio. They used RCA studio on Sunset in LA. The Stones used it for "Satisfaction" and the Liverpool Five used it for "Stepping Stone" and both of their RCA albums.. The Monkees were always dropping by to catch the bands and really liked the Liverpool Five' s music selections..

At least the Mullets, Mohawks, Pompadoors & Flock Of Seagulls like hair styles from "back in the day" are gone now. That is great to see. Voices aren't bad either. So it's all good. Nice overall video. Thanks for sharing.
