what race should i be? i wanna go for battleship pvping. I was thinking of amaar but last time i heard they were nerfed, but i dont wanna do gallante again. Any suggestions?
minmater are pretty decent for pvp, got to love the sabre,huginn/rapier. best for speed and not too shabby damage
although i must say if its going to be a new character then you will have a long while before you can get good skills to fly a battleship for pvp...properly anyways
As for T1 ships I think that gallente is the way to go. Vexor/thorax/celestis all great cruisers for pvp in their own right. Myrm is a beast. then the megathron/domi/rokh are all great pvp ships as well. I agree for T2 though minmatar are pretty good.

Rokh isn't Gallente is it, its Caldari the tier 3 battleship for the Gallente is the hype which is shockingly crap. Any way i'm crossed trained Caldari/Gallente and can fly both battle cruisers but only Gallente battleships.
i'm going to make a completely new acount cause i messed up attributes, and to start with some friends who are also getting it. Finally the big ships are gonna look REALLY big, i was getting tired of the low resolution ships. The unltimate would be walking around in your ship, and having your guy walking around in the hangars (which i think you might be able to do)

very true, my question is why do the ships have to be so big? I mean are there crew? wish they would be specific or something. I mean those dreadnoughts are bigger then NYC practically
well if you read the back story, the pod pilot basicly controls the whole ship by himself as the jove technology given to the 4 races is so advance you wont need a crew....well maybe a few but thats how it goes anyway
tech 1 ships were made before pod pilots. you know those pirate NPC your fighting? well they don't have pods still you'll killing 100's a people a kill. Ships still do have crew. The pod tech allows for many less crew members however.
this is the path to tech 2 ships. because with all of that space freed up why not build more stuff? and why they said no tech 2 ships... other than jmp F.
why they said no to tech 2 capital ships because those were made after the pod tech was introduced. But I suppose slapping a jump drive a freighter isn't too hard :P
