  • what 3 years can do to a kid.

  • Umm... How does that help to stabilize the camera? I believe you, I just don't see how.

  • U Lie wheres the boulder

  • I built something similar and it was quite ineffective, I've been much happier using the Cam Caddie Scorpion. $38 and all my shots are so much better it's crazy I took so long to just buy one.

  • Cool

  • liar there is music in the video and it sucks I give you a thumbs down

  • hey why isent the how to make in fast foard?

  • Comment removed

  • the first test video you didnt even try to steady the camera. false advertisement

  • cool guy!

much easier and cheaper: use a 1,5l PET-Bottle and fix it with tape at the end of your tripod ;) I love your "introduction"- signpost !

  • what kind of camera did you use?

  • Dont call me stupid but what do the wheels do

  • @DericBecker they're just an easy way to add weight on to the base

  • My camera is heavier than the one you're using (Sony VX-2000), would I need to weight the bottom differently?

  • hermoso chico.

  • Pretty resourceful.

  • @deltajuliet try to view my stabilizer.. DIY steadicam..gimbals are made from ballbearings.. all X,Y,Z axis tnx

  • you're an annoying kid

  • copyer of indy mogul effects

  • Thanks.

  • mogul xD nice vid

  • :-)

    0$ Steadicam from junk

    watch?v=B5FMTjcF2Ng

  • would it work with the kodak zx1 camera?

  • plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz make a berret 50cal.!!!!

  • I liked that vid, I especially like the end of the vid where he announces (half way up a tree) that he is going to show us how to build a giant fake boulder. Funny.

  • i dont have a tripod head

  • steddy cam he just run on first test and walked on second

  • o kool kan u say the matirials again n can i fond it in walmart?????? and a tripod head???

  • u just copied bfx. good though...

  • great but u spaz out alot

  • well done kid. Good use of the counter weight with 'round the house items.

  • product of liberal parenting with unlimited positive reinforcement, what a tool.

  • thats not a steadicam dumbass. its just a camera thats bottom heavy.

  • but it steadies the camera, dumbass!!

  • agreed

  • 1:21 hit himself with it LOL

    Robswholesale2u . c o m

  • nice

  • U should put a strap on it so the video cam does not fall of.

  • Impressive. The tires just function as a weight, right?

  • @Chrysoprose yeah

  • Well done!

  • real good it was so different and STEADY

  • Wakki ur not steady ur self

  • if u have a tripod head then y not just buy a tripod

  • ive seen this one on indy mogul

  • looooooool 1:22 he hits himself on the head with the pole

  • awesome.. ..man..how old are you????

  • this was on indymogul!

  • How did you take off the tripod head from the stand?

  • dude, your sick xD but thats cool!

    love the tipp. thanks ;D

  • Nice guy`!

  • what!??? u had a tripod head!?? why not just use the tripod

  • i dont get how it rolls... with the wheels facing down it's sort of weird..

  • It doesn't roll.

The wheels on the bottom are simply weights to keep the top from shaking.

  • oh...i see....

  • nice, thanks!

  • hey can stedi cam with weels please that would be awesome

  • a stedi cam with weels would just be a tripod in a dolly (not a doll)

  • hey carbonlead you cant run with a tabel

  • How you can make your green screen

  • household hacker has a how too for that one

  • no offence or anything but wouldn't it just be better to buy a tripod or place the camera on a steady surface?

  • 1. tripods are expensive.

    2. steady surfeses are extreamly hard to find.

    Hope that helps.

  • sdeady surfaces aren't that hard to find.

have you ever heard of a table?

  • Do tripods have wheels on them?

  • some tripods have wheels on them but i think tripods with wheels on are called dolly rails or sumfing

  • you submitted this video to indy mogul right

  • what kinda cameras could this work with?could it work with a Flip(c) video recorder?if not what kind do you reccommend

  • it would work with a flip. I recommed a mini dv camera.

  • lol how did u climb that tree??ur funny

  • how do you climb a tree? PARKER! YOU NEED TO MAKE A TUTORIAL TO CLIMB A TREE! :D

  • @robingshade try to view my stabilizer.. DIY steadicam..gimbals are made from ballbearings.. all X,Y,Z axis tnx

  • metal rod and w00d hhaaa.. but seriously great creation

  • really helpful, good job

  • mm ok , but i think you need more exercise kid, you breath too much for a lil run :S

  • Well.. I saw this on indy mogul and I couldn't believe my eyes, so I had to see it myself. Amazing job Parker! I'm going to do this!

  • ok?

  • good job guy you're a genius

  • good

  • nice job. i didint really notice the jump if u wouldint of said anything i would of not known lol.

well i see why u build stuff there is nothing but trees around u lol. good stuff tho.

  • ok.... if you want.. look my professional version. bye!

  • It´s better...Of course

  • Wow {arker! Excellent!

  • I need to build one of these! Thanks

  • well its a good little cheep project and it works decently because u managed to get enough weight, but for a stedicam to work properly u must balance the weight of the camera with your weights and then find your center of gravity otherwise moving may cause strange movements wile in motion. but good little tutorial though.

  • Why dont you make a movie that would rock!!!!!!!!

  • very creative but i think that if you had a tri pod head than you would have a tri-pod and if you had a tri pod you probably you wouldnt need a stedicam butcool i want to do the car mount but i dont have car handels like that

  • cool! 1000 views right on the dot :D great ep

  • great tutorial but when you tell us to drill holes and stuff you gotta tell us how big our drillbit should be. otherwise we'll just have to keep on guessing with size drillbit to use...

  • Very nice job. You could always just attach some sort of weight to the bottom of your tripod.

  • I'm guessing he used lawnmower wheels as weights on the bottom. You could even use those round gym weights (if you have some), or you could adapt the rig to whatever weights you want to use.

  • no offence but who has lawnmower wheels

  • walmart for $5.

  • that was actully realy impressive, but why lawnmower wheels?

Like i just thought it was odd.

anyways, well done. and did you not show us a big rock?

not hot glue this time, well done!

  • hahahaha nice one parker!

  • Good tutorial!

In your future tuts, going into more detail about the size of the holes (or the drill bits to make the holes) would be a lot handier than just saying "A little bit smaller" :)

Keep it up, and come up with some more ideas for tutorials that involves making things for the camera, instead of props like the rock :)

  • nice job! do you go on indy mogul.

    ps 5 stars

  • i'm speekerphone

  • oooooo thats why you look framilair good job keep it up

  • That explains me finding this video from you posting it. 8B

  • @BandDFilms try to view my stabilizer.. DIY steadicam..gimbals are made from ballbearings.. all X,Y,Z axis tnx

  • why the heck did someone rate 1 star

  • The test footage came out really good.

What a difference in the two shots.
