@InglouriousRobot When you're finished editing got to make movie. Make you video as a file AVI. Go to YouTube>Upload>Videos>then choose your vid

To get the highest picture quality on YouTube export your video from Pinnacle studio 9,10 or 12 plus using Windows media at the custom setting of 2.1Mbps the quality is indistinguishable with the original file.

I think its has to do with how you publish the movie (or make it) I use AVI or DIvX (AVI on the second highest- give HQ. The highest puts ALL my work over a GB but would give it HD) DivX set on full screen should give it HQ and its file compression is pretty low compared to AVI raw. I hope this helps.
