Best Robin Hood movie ever made (only my opinion, I don't like the very old but classic ones, cause... well the were old ^^). Looking forward comparing it with the new one with Russel Crowe

legend has it that Robin Hood wasn't a hero they twisted that through the tales told, apparently he was just a highway man who with his gang robbed the rich and just kept gold to themselves, but we would all just much prefer remembering him as a noble English hero and loveable outlaw :)

@jrbrooks200 yeah, that is true. But it's the same with Biblestories actually. For Instance the Stories written about Jesus, were written 50 Years after his death, which is 2 generations back that time. Nobody that wrote all that down ever saw the "real" Jesus, all only heard stories, from friends from friends from friends....

Actually all four gospels are believed to be witnessed accounts. The book of Matthew and John were written by Jesus's disciples of the same name. Lets also not forget the epistles of Peter 1,2, and John 1,2,3 and the book of James (apostle and younger brother of Christ) . Outside of the books written by Paul the New Testament is credited, by scholars, to have been written by men who had known Christ.

"He is forever a legend" is pretty spot on in my eyes, because I grew up with this movie.

Sat on ma dad's knee in a Glasgow cinema when I was wee ... cheered during the action sequences. And, its still an awesome film in my eyes.

The Sherriff was a great baddy back then, and he's still an awesome villian when I watch it today, at 21!

Michael Wincott...you may remember him from the Three Musketeers (he was a second in command in that too) or...I believe he was in Count of Monte Cristo? hope that helps.
