I don't know the circumstances. But it sounds like he was in the right. It's wasn't the moderators fault. She did nothing wrong, however as a moderator it is a responsibility that your "Star" doesn't get demoralized. Why should he provide funds to run a site that is being beligerant regarding his wife. People have the right of free speech. However, beligerance is uncalled for. If you must do it, do it on a free and open site like here at YouTube.

Ioan had every right to withdraw his support of the site, but being dishonest about Alice's need to control every comment on it is what caused many of us to lose interest in his career.

well from what ive read, he sent a letter stating his dissapiontment in his fans, not anything horrible. his "so called fans" were trashing his wife on the fan site so he ceased funding. the letter was completely appropriate. so from what ive seen, he is still the gentleman we all thought was with out a doubt! =]

The letter was appropriate? That's bullshit. It was uncalled for it was unprofessional. He really fucked big time. Shutting down the website did not help matters either. He was a nobody until it was created. His psycho wife FALSELY accused a moderator on the fan site of sabotaging her wikipedia page. They know they did wrong but do not have the class to apologize to this girl. They both need to act their age and learn to expect criticism. Its part of show business.
