I think this only works with laptop computers cause I really cant figure out how to make it work in a desktop.

my computer connects to the network but it doesnt find it, tried it in two desktops (with wierless cards)and no results, tried it with a laptop and it worked like a charm.

any ideas on how to make it work with a desktop?

this is MUCH MUCH BETTER than iphonemodem... I tried it at home with my router off and i was able to get online on both firefox and safari fairly quick.. get this if you can.. Btw you have to have cydia to download PdaNet
