i went there on my way to st louis with my school, and i got hit in the head with a roll twice! and i tell you, when we got back on the bus we were probably the fattest busload of 14 year olds ever!

i visited the one in saxton it is great southern food and lotts of it! fun for the whole family.

We recently had lunch here - the place blew...my...MIND!!! The rolls were flat-out AWESOME! Never had anything like 'em. Our order was on our table in nothin' flat, and the portions were HUGE, PEOPLES!!! Hours later in my motel room 200 miles away I'm just laying there like a whale, hardly able to move - like, man, what'd those people do to me back there?! Truly memorable dining experience - just go there hungry and fast the whole next day ('cuz ya hafta!!)

I love Lamberts. It was in the paper a couple of years ago that there were negotiations going on to get one near K.C. at the new shopping center with the Bass Pro in Blue Springs. Dunno whatever happened with that deal but I sure wish we'd get one closer to home.

I remember going there once about two years ago. Awesome food and rolls. Almost got hit in the head with one but it was fun. Throwed roll FTW!

Oh I forgot to mention..... it was the Ozark (Springfield, MO) Lambert's we went to! We came in at around 3:00 and there was no waiting. Our meals were on the table five minutes after our server took our order. Must have been during the slow period between lunch and dinner.

We went there today Oct. 14,2008. Love it! I pigged out on the meat-loaf dinner and had three rolls. Could have had more rolls but, the meal portion PLUS the pass arounds were more than enough. FYI... they DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS! Make sure you have cash or your checkbook ready.

Mmmmm...Lamberts. I always take visitors to Lamberts and it's definitely worth the wait! They love it.

They actually have try-outs for roll thrower. Usually someone from the Ozark Tigers Baseball team is the thrower.
