I feed him normal dry dog food with some canned dog food.

But he also eats some of my family's meals as well.

Hi! Oh it was actually not a pickle. My sister gave him a piece of bread with curry in it :-) Oh yes, he would have wanted the meat if she had given him a pickle!!

Japanese akitas and American akitas look the same, but the american is bigger with a wider face and shorter muzzle

He is an American Akita. We brought him back from the U.S. to Japan 3 years ago.

@NationOfPhat It's an american bred akita. The Japanese breeds are smaller. You can google pics of Japanese bred and american bred and easily see the differences amongst the two.
