I saw JC Superstar at the JFK Center for Performing Arts in Washington DC in 1972 while I was working on the J Edgar Hoover FBI building. Awsome.

"...He's just a man" It is up to you decide whether you think it is true or not. Do you have faith that He was more than just a man, or do you believe that He was just a man?  Anyone who has the wisdom to say, "He who is without sin may cast the first stone" is alright by me. That doesn't mean I have to believe all the supernatural fantasies that have been attached to him.

For many years I had understood the Torah/Old Testament to be the Word of God and the New Testament to be the living Word of God. Finally, instead of having them read to me, I invested 3 1/2 hours and read the red words written in the New Testament. Doing so, it became clear the words of Jesus Christ were the words of God. And, in Mathew the brilliant exchanges with the Apostles who repeatedly asked for proof were met with the same brilliant answer each time.

To complete the thought I'm attempting to share. Thomas (a doubtful Thomas?) had asked Jesus if he could stick his fingers in the holes. Several apostles preceded Philip who then asked the virtual identical question. Show us the Father and that will be sufficient. Jesus patience had possible grown thin as He responds Have you not known Me, Philip? These words I speak are not of My own authority, but that of the Father who is in Me and I am in the Father. I am not greater then the Father..

Thousands? Didn't your mother tell you a million times not to exaggerate? The Dead Sea Scrolls prove the Bible to be the most perfectly translated Ancient Text. The original Torah written in Hewbrew and the changes are minor and insignificant.

yeah, i agree with you completely!

im not new to singing but my voice is maturing so that i can have great power and emotion as I belt the notes. my favorite part is the Should I Bring Him Down... etc. the power and emotion that you have to put into that part is... dang i cant even decribe it! it takes alot to sing this song. here's a little tip. on the should i part, start off quietly and then build up to the last line singing with all your might! then instanly get quiet on the "what's it..."
