  • Based on the 64 New York worlds fair which also took place in Flushing Meadows Park

  • That's actually a model of the '64 '65 New York World's Fair, where Walt memorably debuted four attractions (small world, Lincoln, Progressland, and Ford's Magic Skyway).

  • Stark Expo = Epcot

    Howard Stark = Walt Disney

  • @geocross237 Call it funny but now that I have seen Stark 30 years before hand. He looks better then.

  • Looks like IBM Endicott at 0:18

  • Anyone else notice the Howard Stark - Walt Disney connection? Same sort of look with the grey suit and small mustache. Stark Expo = EPCOT. "It's not just a business, it's a dream." That's a Walt line if ever I heard one.

    Just sayin'.

  • @nosuchthingasgod That's very much intentional. The theme song for the Stark Expo was written by the Sherman Brothers, who wrote the music for all of Disney's pavillions at the New York World's Fair in 1964 (like the Carousel of Progress).

  • @deeblite allow me to correct myself before someone else can. It was just Richard Sherman who wrote "Make Way For Tomorrow Today" not both of them. The point still stands.

  • My father remember that spot! omg

  • Great !

  • I love viral marketing! :)

  • Stark Expo! wow!

    I love Stark Expo 2010! ^^

  • what is that ?

  • This is really disappointing. This looks like it was thrown together by different departments that didn't know what the goal was. If this is supposed to be 1974, then why is there footage from the 1950's? The rocket ship that the piece opens with looks even older. The end graphics reminds me of the later Seventies or early eighties. It seems poorly edited as well; look how Stark is cut off before he finishes his line.

  • @TighelanderII I totally agree. Also, the announcer's voice sounds like something from the 30s, and while Stark's voice is not a whole lot better, it's noticeably better... but also still of very poor fidelity. I was at Expo 74. I seem to remember that we could record in pretty good quality by then. ; )

  • 0:31 looks like iron man's armor

  • lol

  • The globe is from Flushing Queens, NY from the '64 World's Fair!

  • i bought my tickets, have you?

  • howard stark is a walt disney look-a-like

  • @vegettossj4000 Disney owns Marvel

  • wow that's good

  • whats this?!!! starkexpo??? WTTTTTTF.

  • hey i was at that one. ;)

  • Old school :P

  • Wayne Industries needs to step their game up.

  • @IHS7 My and my roomate have been wondering: Who is richer? Stark or Wayne? I'm thinking Stark, but I'm not sure.

  • @LivingCrusader Bruce Wayne because he has Old Money and Built on top of it. Tony is Second Generation Billion. Plus he use to Drink a lot.

  • @IHS7 Tony hasn't been an alcoholic for quite some time.

  • @KnightOfTheLight95 Quite some time? Ok. How old is Reed Richard's Daughter? She was born around the same time Tony was dealing with his problem. Subtract that and we get about 5-8 years ago (in comic book time). I remember during Civil War Tony was drinking and then Threw or smashed his bottle of Brandy. Hes still a drunk.

  • @LivingCrusader Unofficially, Wayne is. On the list of the richest heroes and villains, Stark ranked at 2 after Wayne. However, I heard that most of the actual numbers for that was pulled out of thier arses and was complete speculation. So, yeah.

  • @KnightOfTheLight95 It is official. I saw it on a website a long time ago. Bruce Wayne was 1st. Tony Stark was 2nd.

  • @IHS7 That's DC Stark is Marvel

  • @keither91 really? wow. golly gee, thanks for clearing that up. I had no idea.

  • @IHS7 hey no prob. I'm just a big Marvel nerd and Yeah you have a point that iron man drank alot
