  • I can't find any Fender 50's or 60's pups like Robin has to go in my strat but I did find some Vintage Single Coils from Surh at their website. You can buy each individual pickup and not have to get the entire set like the Fender ones. Would these meet Trower standards? Tone wise?

  • Come back to Knoxville soon, Robin!

  • Totally COOL Robin --- AMAZING " Signature Tone..." Only You have that Sound . !!!! I wish you were coming to Toronto...some time soon. Have you tried the Custom Shop 1969 pick ups. ???? Have you ever tried a Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster..or any other Strats from other Artists.??? I like the Hardwire Tr-7 Pedal for Uni-vibe.!

  • Awesome video Robin, i'll have to come and see you when you play the east coast this summer! Cheers!

  • Richard Watt is the bassist/singer and plays on Go My Way. He has toured with Robin for a few years here and there.

  • Sorry,Robin, this is not your first ever open air gig in England - you played Reading Festival on the sunday evening in 1975!!! you were good then - possibly even better now......

  • Robin Sounds Just Like he did in the early 1980"s. We were blessed when he visited a little venue called the "Blue Moon" in Elgin Illinois. I was blessed to be able to sit right in front of the stage thru the entire performance. Burned some of my Long Red Hair and I wore No ear plugs either !!! Lol. Thank you Robin Trower you are a gift to our world.

  • Robin where's your band? The bass player missed the opening. At least he can sing though.

  • friggin love this guy!!!!!!

  • Who is playing drums?

  • I saw Robin and his band in Glasgow on 23rd Sept. Great show and was very impressed by Richard Watts singing and bass playing . I was surprised at first that it wasn't the usual line up but ended up really enjoying the night . Look forward to next tour .

  • Saw you in Raleigh, NC earlier this year. Y'all come back now yahere! You blew the doors off the place!

  • mr.Robin Trower нашел нового James Dewar?

  • Never seen this guy without a smile.....and by the way, he is GUITAR gOD!! (lower case G for obvious reasons)

  • Errr.....Robin I saw you at Reading Festival in 1975. The Sun was shining, so I know it was outdoors! Fantastic performance, BTW - The crowd ended up just chucking stuff up in the air :-)

  • The bass player/vocalist in this video is Richard Watts. He first joined Robin around 2000 and appears on Robin's "Go My Way" album.

  • Never thought anyone could come close to Jimmy Dewar - this new guy is great. Saw them at the Stables, Milton Keynes - totally blown away. Took me back to seeing Robin at the Hammersmith Odeon circa '79?

  • That was cool as guys....weyfest has gained cudos for that vid! And yeah guitar sweet; bassists vocals sweet!

  • man that bass player has an awesome voice!!

  • What about Berlin this year, In November ?

  • I saw Robin @ the Pabst Theater last may in Milwaukee,Wi My 6th time I have seen him.He was incredible. He has a lot of years left in him.His entire band is very talented also.My dream is for Robin to headline the Paramount Blues Fest. in Grafton,Wi.someday.

  • Great to see you out and about, Robin! I've been a fan since I was 16, with Bridge of Sighs. I always thought that was mythical place, until I saw "Ponte de Suspiro", (Italian, or Bridge of Sighs in English) in Venice. It is a short bridge between the Dojes' Palace, and the Jail. Those sentenced to death would be escorted accross what became known as the bridge of sighs, and through the small barred windows, would glimpse theit last sight of freedom, before meeting their fate.Lovely place, that!

  • Awesome!!! :)

  • Real nice, Robin.

  • I saw them last night in Derby. Robin was Robin.... Awesome as ever. Livingstone Brown fills Dewar's boots very well..... really soulful playing and showed a great deal of respect for the original recordings. And the drummer (apologies... don't know his name) was the driving force behind the rockier numbers and provided great feeling for the the others. Well done lads.

  • Nobody can replace Dewar, but Livingston Brown (20th Century Blues) was the next best singer he`s had. Wish he could tour with Robin again, instead of producing Robins Albums..

  • Stupid me - I meant Weyfest!

  • I like this lineup already, change can be good. Sad there's no London or SE gig, missed Weymouth due to timing. See you next tour then (please) ;-)

  • yeah really this is a different band. the other guy was better.

  • When did he get a new singer/Bass player?

  • @hawg427 I think that's the guy that sang on some LOOT tracks. He's ok. We can never go back to the Dewar days. Just be glad Robin's still playing.

  • @kickinbackinOC He sang on "Go My Way" - check out the song "Blue For Soul" as an example :-)

  • The tour band sounds Awesome Robin, wish I didn't live so far away, would love to see a show, all the best ,,peace*¨*♫♪
