I wish the American church could understand this passage of scripture. It is God who saves, sanctifies and glorifies us by His grace. It's not just a get out of hell free card. Salvation is an act of God which creates a unquenchable desire for the preciousness of Christ our savior. It is that relationship of compelling grace and love which draws us away from sin and toward the final goal of Christ-likness. "Oh the depths of both the wisdom and knowledge of God...to Him be the glory forever!"

I love this preacher, I really do. He's showing the book Romans in itself IS a sermon. And why it is so important to memorize scripture. I love what Piper is doing here, but I also love hearing it read by Max McLean.
