It was brilliant to finally watch them win down here. Perth aside, they outplayed the Aussies in every aspect of the game. . 05 and 09 were great, but let's face it, the Aussies had chances to win both series. You can't say that about this one. That being said, I just don't believe that England can sustain the momentum to become number one in the game. Maybe under Flower, it'll be different, but in the past England have usually followed one good series with an insipid one.

ENGLAND has to win the WC 2010. The only way Cricket could truely be globalized in the western world is to have ENGLAND as a champ. The americans love and admire anything that is British and so do other Eu nations, although not everyone admits it
I used to go to the cricket when it was for civilised people. We have truly become a yob nation when the Daily Telegraph celebrates a bunch of drunken louts who ruin the day for anyone who doesn't want to watch the game their way.
