It is impossible to reduce, or increase, or do anything with, gravity. If they just slowed down the camera then the dust particles would show drastically different trajectories. Its take-off and landing times may be the same, but a parabola on Earth would be much smaller.

To put it simply, you throw something on Moon, it doesn't just take longer to fly, the trajectory of its path is completely different.
