the thing about cars with me is that corvettes are dope, dont get me wrong, but buying a car that only has about 275hp to the wheels and then fixing it up to your standards and making it a 500hp car is better than just simply buying a fast car.

If you watch the video again you will see that other cars passed them both before the race started and how quickly the other cars were passed when they started gunning it. Here's another little nugget of truth for you Supra fanboys. MK IV Supra RZ: 3,450lbs vs a 4th generation Trans Am LT1 (often called overweight by import fans) tips the scales at 3,200lbs.
0-60 in 4.9 for a Supra, 0-60 in 4.6 for a Trans Am.
Supras aren't the be all and end all of the automotive world. The supra in this video very clearly raced and lost. Truth.

@94XJ Im a RX-7 fan but i love supras as well... and yes they are heavy and they are only "kinda" fast stock, but the 2jz that is in a supra is a nearly indestructible motor and can easily be modded to push 1000hp+. Then there is also the fact that they are rare and way better looking than a trans am. Me personally, I love anything thats rare and preforms great, but when added simple mods it turns beast. Not saying the Trans Am sucks, but you should probably grow a mullet if you drive one.

anything that is posted by a brand loyal person such as Chevy, Ford, Toyota, ect will usually never post their dream cars losing. Granted a 850 hp vette winning is no surprise if he is racing a simple bolt on supra thats 500hp maybe. People seem to forget that a stock Supra was rated at 276hp/318tq.... good kill for a unknown to be equal match up I guess ?
