  • Read about mooncups about four years ago. Many ppl have allergic reactions to products in tampons and pads so they used them. I saw that these were disposable and had a $3 off coupon so for $2 thought I'd give em a try. They're supposed to be safer and can stay in WAY longer so Why not. I brought down a pad, tampon and cup just in case. But so far so good. Not nearly as messy, uncomfortable or hard as I thought. if all goes good, I'd definately switch over! 12hrs with no worries AND it's safe,

  • this is better than tampons and pads how?

  • @andyberk

can be worn longer, does not cause toxic shock syndrome, can be worn during sex.

  • AND! It's a plus to have sex on your period. It's only gross if its some random guy you're doing it with who doesn't love you. Other than that, my boyfriend for 5 years would love to, no problem.

  • First time I used it, felt a little weird but not uncomfortable at all. I like the idea alot better than a tampon or pad but itll take a little getting used to. Can someone explain the bone part?

  • you ppl are immature when ur in a long-term relationship and u want to have sex with ur partner while on ur period there is nothing wrong with that. A grown man is gonna wanna make love to his woman he accepts her body as it is natural. it is the woman's choice some women prefer not to have sex on their period while others do.U need to learn to respect other peoples opinions/choices. If u can't express yourself in a mature constructive way then maybe u should refrain from saying anything at all.

  • Ahhh Heeveegeeebeeez when she said place it up behind your pubic bone!! HOW THAT??!!Seriously I suffer too much pain and blood to be touchin myself like that! Still I"m desperate for something new...

  • Hahahaha

  • i'm 24 minus 10 and married and i get serious pleasure out of these softcups thank you

  • THIS IS FUCKING GROSS AND THE LITTLE GIRL IS DEFIANTLY RIGHT...WHO WANT'S TO HAVE SEX WITH A WOMEN ON HER PERIOD TIME,IT'S BAD FOR HER AND FOR THE GUY TOO....

  • BTW I still love it! I insert and remove over the toilet so it leaking on the floor would be done by someone with no common sense. I don't have to worry about blood sitting againt my skin and its comfortable...I just have to make sure its more secure behind my pelvic bone. As long as there's soap and water who the hell cares about blood on their hands..

  • I'm trying it for the first time and i have two issues. It staying place and pulling it out without and explosion LOL.

  • @eharris1982

When I first started staying in place was an issue for me as well cuz I was scared I was going to push it in too far lol but jus keep trying, it will get easier

  • Great and informative video

I agree that most women need to be less afraid of their bodies and fluids. And you can also try menstrual cups. These are really idea for young girls. Plus they don't dry you out like a tampon does. And as far as swimming goes, most times when you're in a pool your period actually stops flowing so this would be ideal for even a competitive swimmer. I think most people just need to get over the ick factor or get a life.

  • Are theas better than tampons

  • Can the guy feel it if u have sex or oral sex?

  • You know that is actually a really good idea.....I'll wait till I hear some reviews about it before I get some though

  • @LuvMehSuga

    Try Them, They're Great!

  • This is worst than a tampon

  • "Poop out the Softcup"

  • @thegirlybits I meant my comment in context. These things are really impractical for competitive swimmers like myself. Sure, these are advertised so you can "swim" in them, but that's more along the lines of "fun" swimming, not racing. And if I'm using a tampon, there's no "puddle" ;)

  • Was introduced these things a few days ago by my neighbor who's been using them over 30 years. Much more convenient than tampons. NO STRINGS ATTACHED!!!

  • *sigh* if you don't like it don't use it and stfu. For women who lead a busy life this is god sent. it does not have to be changed every 2 hours and it wont leak. For women who have heavy periods this is such a life saver. And for those of you going eeeww wear a pad/tampon, tampons can cause toxic shock syndrome, pads can cause a yeast infection. this is a lot more sanitary.

  • yep i'm gunna keep posting that until it starts being irrelevent

  • What? There are actually people out there who are having sex but think that putting their own fingers into their vagina is disgusting?? Period blood isn't poisonous, don't be so freaked out by it. Using mooncup has taught me to know my body and my period better, plus I'm producing less waste and saving money. I would never ever put a bleached chemical-filled tampon inside me! And for those who worry about spilling: the amount of blood per day is surprisingly little, just a few spoonfuls.

  • @liskafinka I despise women that are afraid of their own bodily fluid. Insertion cups can be used for 12 hours at a time, and pretty convenient too. Also safe

  • Why don't take a shot while at it.... LMAO!!!

  • This is the most disgusting thing ever.!!! I stick to pads or tampons. Seriously a cup inserted in you VAGINA???. WTF!!!!!!

  • @Lilbabycakes818 okay have fun sitting in a gelatinous puddle of your own blood

  • @thegirlybits if your wearing a tampon or pad your still sitting in a gelatinous puddle of your own blood.

  • @VerretaMeonGuu thats what I meant, gosh, you said you'll stick to tampons and pads

  • fuck no

  • I'd be terrified when going to drain the liquids all of a sudden yougo, OH SHIT I DROPPED THE CUP and then there is a bloody mess on the floor :P

  • @bonitachika792

It's best to do that part in the shower. I take at least 2 showers a day so empty it in the morning in shower and before bed in shower and you won't have to worry about the mess. These are good for up to 12hrs.

  • Hmm....yep, I'll stick to my chemical-laden tampons. I just...can't wrap my head around this one. Nothing against those who use them, I'm just saying that I don't think I will be.

  • @RainStrife92 okay have fun sitting in a gelatinous puddle of your own blood

  • this looks... messy

  • I get it but a cup of blood for twelve hours may start to smell.

  • eeewww! use a freaking tampon

  • what if you accidentally spill when you are trying to remove it?

that would be terrifying in a public place.

  • @limpidd I think that's why some of us use tampons.. to reduce.. spillage in public places. lol

  • @limpidd you only need to change it every 12 hours, so you'd probably take it out at home before bed or something.

  • this looks extremely uncomfortable. wouldn't use it just looks nasty then when u pull it out u have a cup of blood yuck rather use a pad.

  • this makes me want to cry

  • I had no idea there were so many ignorant and rude people on here. . Where do you people get these names you call your vagina? It's a vagina, nothing more.

  • eff that...who the heck wants that all over!!!!

  • does it hurt :/

  • @mrscookiemon123

If you are a virgin, it would probably be uncomfortable the first few times, but I wouldn't think any more so than a tampon. If you don't get it in correctly, it can be uncomfortable. If you have it in place correctly you should not feel it at all.

  • @shlackquack WHY THE F*CK WOULD A VIRGIN TEAR HER HYMEN AWAY USING THIS SH*T???? USE PADS!!! THEY KEEP THE VAGINA HEALTHY AND MOIST!

  • I have never seen so many immature comments before! First of all, these actually work really well once you get used to getting them in correctly. You don't "Shove it in your hoohaa" you gently place it there similarly as to how you do with a tampon. And at the little girl that said people shouldn't have sex when you are on your period, I am 24 and married. When you are with a grown man,and not a little boy they want to have sex with their wives regardless of it she is on her period. Grow up.

  • Respond to this video...

I agree with everything until the having sex on your period. Without condoms, for both partners, that can be very dangerous and I'm sure you've done it by your comment but it really can cause a number of problems especially for the female.

  • @boddahveryape stop commenting everyday and I love and I'm not ashamed of my body I just don't want to put my finger in my vagina I wouldn't want to put my finger in my butt either does that mean I'm stupid no and I don't care if u love the soft cup woo four u

  • @nameless212 Mostly in America people body shame more than other countries. Who said I'm shocked?? Because I'm not. I'm not judging anyone, I'm saying your body isn't gross and no one should feel ashamed of it. I wasn't degrading anyone for it!

  • All of you close minded women out there should feel ashamed. Do you know how many pads and tampons sit in an landfill and all you say is EW I'm not touching my vagina, especially on my period... You know how much money you are wasting as well! They use bleaches and dyes in tampons and pads that mess up your vagina's pH balance. You need to grow up and learn that your body is not gross and disgusting. I bet all or most of you are from America who are making these comments.

  • @boddahveryape You remind me of those annoying feminists who march around saying I LOVE MY VAGINA AND PERIOD!

  • @kiiimiko Well I'm not nor did I say I was. Just because I don't find my body gross like half the people on the planet doesn't make me a feminist or mean that I love my period now does it.

  • do this work this birth control too??

  • @motherfntacoface No it doesn't!

  • Why the hell would i want to stick my fingers in my vagina when im on my period?!? umm no thanx!!

  • hell no...i'll stick to my tamps...

  • Uh, first of all. Why do people keep calling it a 'Vajayjay'? Are you 12 years old? It's a Vagina. Secondly. You've got to be insane to choose a pad over a tampon. Tampons leave no mess, are comfortable and don't make you feel like you're wearing a blood filled nappy. As for these menstrual cups. May work for some, But the fact that they're not absorbent is what turned me off.

  • @OnelastTimeForlove You body shouldn't have absorbent things inside of it.

  • ok im not gonna shove a dish into my va jay jay so....yeah im gonna choose to feel like im wearing a diaper thanks to pads instead of risking havin a "softcup" in my va jay jay for the rest of my life, and oh yeah I DON'T WANT TO FUCKING STICK MY FINGER IN MY VA JAY JAY REPEATEDLY!!!!!!!!

  • what the...? how does... but why.... that doesn't seem right.... so.... you menstrate into a petri dish sitting in there and then pull it out and then..... what? so confused.... who came up with this?????

  • @myjunefairy It was developed in the 1930's.

  • Ok, but what if you stand up?

  • @ChickIgloo It stays in place....

  • LORD HAVE MERCY!! by 37 seconds I was like "Oh hell NAW Maury!!" and I promise you I am not a fool. Tampax pearls have done right by me for over 5 years. I'm feel like my vagina is fighting me for even watching this. LOL I AM NOT KNOCKING THOSE THAT USE IT. But whooo lord. smh nope...nooooo.

  • I DONT WANNA INSERT MY FINGER INTO MY V JAYJAY

  • wait so it fills up?

  • ..........

    what did i just watch

  • the fuck!!!!

  • @Jellypigs96 Same with tampons, if it hurts, you're putting it in wrong or not far back enough.

  • To those who have tired it and it worked out successfully, did you try having sex with it on? If so, did it work?

  • I just bought it today... I can't feel it inside at all...seems to be doing it's job.. but dunno if it leaks yet I'll just have to wait for 12hrs and find out.

  • @ChocoAteBrain How did it go?

  • I just saw these today and decided to try them. So far so good!

  • it was invented by a woman

  • No wonder many were infected with such factory germs. DONT USE IT!!!

  • did a guy invent this?

  • no thank you, I'll keep my DivaCup!

  • Lol WTF. You women are now inserting cups?

  • So.....how many people here have actually TRIED the product?

Some of the commenters here sound like they're still in high school. Are they even female?

  • That was disturbing

  • would this make ur coochie loose?

  • @t5peva

No it does not make your "coochie" loose. It molds to your unique shape while it is inside you. It is not big, you fold it before putting it inside you.

    @Darkpurplenailpolish

It is very comfortable. You don't feel it anymore than you do a tampon. It is not huge. And you don't have to stick your finger "all up and through there". You barely put your finger in enough to slide it into place and to remove it.

  • that made me cringe :/

  • 1. You have to stick your finger all up and through there. -_-

    2. It can SPILL if you take it out at an angle. I don't want that to happen when I'm at school in the bathroom. O_O

    3. That thing looks HUGE!

4.Who wants to walk around with a cup shoved up their Shebang??? :/

    5. I'm pretty surd that's really uncomfortable.

    6. Girls, don't complain about tampons. Its either a tampon or a cup shoved up your crouch. :/

    Just Saying..

  • @DARKPurpleNailPolish It's smaller than a tampon, You fold in in half. If you don't like the softcup use the lady cup. Tampons give you a higher risk of TSS, which could be fatal. Tampons and pads also leave some of the tissue of the fabric in your vagina. You can also wear menstrual cup overnight and up to 12 hours.

  • A vagina is also made of erectile tissue... Therefore during sexual stimulation a vagina gets BIGGER... how else do you think a penis fits into a vagina... It's makes perfect sense that it doesn't move especially if it is molded to fit. It will only spill if you don't take it out properly or if you have a extremely heavy flow

  • This sounds like something that could easily turn a bathroom into a crime scene..

    Spillage, mmmm.

  • wow you people are ignorant.... grow up

  • i came.

  • i been thinking of giving these things a try but this just looks messy and unsafe, if you spill its going to get everywhere and what if you cant get it out? Thats a trip to the emergency room. plus it looks kind of uncomfortable

  • that shit look HUGE!!!! O_O

omg.... its like you gotta dig around your vagina for that shit...

tampons you just slip em in -______-

  • tampons and pads are a waste to the environment. When you use re-usable cups you will generally cramp and bleed less because you won't get the chemicals painted on the pads that are wreaking havoc on your body and life in the future. It's your punishment. Anyways, most of you have gone on the chemical pill to lighten or stop the mense but I know nurses who won't let their own daughters touch that crap after what they'e seen.

  • @LietMonty Lighten your mense by majorly limiting the hormone heavy dairy and meats and go organic away from the hormone disrupting chemicals and use glass vs. plastic (has bpa or other chemical that disrupts hormone) for all your kitchen stuff and use the reusable cotton period panties when you get light enough. Maybe the silicone cup.

  • thats totally disgusting! I don't want to stick my fingers inside my vagina while i'm on my period. and when you take it out it's a little cup full of menstrual blood. GROSS! And the thought of reusing them is also disgusting! EWWW!

  • Ok but my question is..wwwhhy do they say you can sex with this in?....I do NOT think so!!!

  • @SiLlyGoOse4321

RIGHT ?! its like.. it takes up over half your vag!! where the hell is the penis suppose to go -_____-

  • @MizzUniquenezz haha I actually watched another vid and in it the woman said the penis goes under the cup during sex. I have a few things to say about that haha, how in the world is that comfortable or pleasurable and are they really saying that with pentration that cup wont move or spill!? Seems so wrong to me lol

  • @SiLlyGoOse4321

this whole cup thing is just pure disgusting to me... lol

how sure are they that the penis will go under the cup -__-

the things humongous! lol just.. gross..

no one should be having sex on their period anyways lol

  • owy D:

  • I actually love these . you change them every 12 hours so I forget I am even on my period. and they aren't uncomfortable like all you you think.

  • I want to try these. Yay sex. ;D

  • WHAT THE HELL.. this looks fucking painful..

  • Don't girls have enough things to shove up their vaginas? Perverts.

  • w....t....f.... pads may feel like diapers to some, but i prefer those over shoving things up my hoo haa.

  • @hnye IKR :|

  • @hnye these are actually really easy to use, have you tried them before?

  • Leave my va jay jay alone!!!!

  • There is a bit of a learning curve to using these but it's well worth trying! Because they collect rather than absorb, It doesn't dry you out like tampons can. And I'm sure most of us know how that's no fun at all! x.x I just hope one day a smaller in diameter version will come out!

  • @MaraImmortal Get the diva cup, girl!!

  • useless

  • This looks difficult...

  • @lesaubergines ikr? These suck compared to that other type of cup. Like, the Diva Cup and others like it look so much more simple. I wish I could just get one of those but they don't sell them in the local stores. T_T

  • i will admit.. when i first saw these i was alittle skeptical.. i had alot of questions and concers

and before i got them i searched the website for atleased an hour to know everything about them

when i finnally got them i was alittle concerned the first time but around the 3rd usage i was comfterable using them and knew they worked

  • Lmao

  • Ha! Ha! Wow! I have been learned! Over six thousand people have watched this, and no ratings, or comments?

  • @fecalophagus That's probably because it is linked to their official website, so no one actually sees it through Youtube. I only ended up here because I accidentally double clicked the play button, otherwise I wouldn't be commenting either, lol.

  • @cally149 - OK, thanks. Ha! Ha!
