Well single shot is the common sense way to go. Most foot soldiers only have the M4 which only has 3 round burst and single shot. Special Ops guys have the M4A1 which has single shot and full auto. The M-16 is usually only used as single shot and occasionally 3 round burst. Single shot is the best way in my opinion.
