Everytime I Download fonts from websites; 1001freefonts or 1001fonts I do everything. I download it, Extract it, Copy + Paste to Fonts File, then just about to download it it says Its not a vaild font file! SOMEONE HELP.

it is soooo much easier: just rightclick the font file you just downloaded and then choose "install". Then it's available in Word, NotePad, Photoshop etc. You don't have to copy it into

the windows font folder.

it could be UAC isnt turned on if your running vista for admin rights, goto control panel > user accounts > turn on/off users accounts control, tick UAC, this will allow you to make changes to your comp
