i'm staying in Samoens village at the end of January for a week..can't decide which lift pass to get. we have 2 beginners with our group of 7 people, the other 5 have all been before. do u think beginners should definitely get the cheaper Samoens pass just?
@gavsolid . very good conditions, wide long runs, NO queues for the lifts, huge area to cover. 2 types of lift pass, local cover or Grand Massif which covers over to Samoens
Yes, go up the yoghurt pots, then the grand vans lift. down Dolomie run, take carbalanche lift, then board/ski marmotte to Samoens, it is long wide less populated and good conditions. or go to the top of les grand platiers in cable car, take long blue serpentine all the way back to foot of grand platiers lift at the bottom. to be honest les carroz, les molliets are well long and worth it
love this place, been going 7 years straight now!!

Sairon run down to morillon is worth the distance. £175 seams alot for pass but if you cover different runs every day it is worth the money
