Might be a test. Check the lever on the back side of the engine, right above the big pipe running along the closest part of the engine. It drops just as the engine starts to struggle.
This engine isn't a car engine. It's a large diesel engine. It's on an engine Dyno probably being tested after being rebuilt. If you look at the top right of the screen you can see it's been running for over ten minutes. When they test the engine they run it under load and over it's entire rev range to make sure it's performing to OEM specifications. During re-manufacturing it's likely that something hasn't been done to specification .
It sounded more like something stopped spinning before it died, I'd say that it was an oil pump failure. The engine tried to seize moments after and things went tits up. Just my professional opinion.
@m1leswilliams yea i'd say that. thinking a cylinder or all started seizing causing huge resistance thus the huge engine movment arking up then con rods breaking and catapulting metal every were. mainly down wards.
id have to replace my whole damn car if my motor blew like that lol
