Hi - this song was released by Guy Sebastian, 1st ever Australian Idol in 2003, and is the biggest selling single in Australia for the last decade, so yes, it is a GREAT song! Carrie does it justice, but unfortunately for those of us who heard the original version by Guy Sebastian when both finalists had to sing it live on the show for the first time & then thousands of times since, his voice can't get outa your head! He's in USA now, still goin strong if u get a chance go see him

For an outstanding Idol moment look up YouTube for Somewhere Over the Rainbow in 2003 Oz Idol!! IMHO most Idol winners are worthy after what they have to do to get there - even the runners up sometimes are outstanding and just unlucky about who else was there that year. A great way to find talent and let it shine
