Thanks to all the kind people who posted reverse sneezing & kennel cough videos. It helped me to figure out what my son's dog whom he rescued had and transmitted to my dogs. It's highly contagious. Wolf Creek Ranch online has natural remedies I'm going to send for. If the dogs exhibiting this have nasal or eye discharge it may be more serious. It can lead to canine pneumonia as well.

Poor baby! I thought my dog might have kennel cough, too because she has a dry cough sometimes. I got her from an animal refuge, and I know she's been vaccinated, but I think I'm going to take her to the vet again just to make sure she doesn't have kennel cough cause that looked scary.
my golden retriever puppy has kennel cough right now. i have videos of it on my channel. its so awful and i hope it just sounds worse than it is. i took him to the vet the day after he had minor coughs the night before so i was able to get antibiotics in him before it really hit, but he still has it. day 4 now.. hopefully he will get better soon. but the poor thing. i try to keep my puppy sleeping as much as i can cuz he doesnt cough but as soon as he wakes up he starts again

Our puppy had it, with the foamy stuff, it took about 3 to 4 weeks to clear. Was awful to watch for those weeks, the vet gave her some tablets but they didnt seem to do much.

that is so sad, my poor baby has the same thing , we had taken him to the vet yesterday , and our vet gave us antibiotics for him, and he also told us to give him cough syrup that contains DM , DO NOT USE ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT CONTAIN DM, give it to your dog three times a day. He will also have a fever with the kennel cough. Please remember to use cough syrup with DM .

Poor baby! Is he better now? My puppy was like that, when I got him. When it got very bad, I'd take him into the bathroom where I had a hot shower running. The steam in the air seemed to help break up the phlegm and soothe his airways.
you need to keep the dog isolated from others.this is a highly contagious disease. thats why the guy with 11 dogs probably got all of them sick. but this condition normally clears within 10-14 days. just try some antibiotics. but if the condition persist, take it to the vet for some advices as a badly affected dog may suffer lung damage if untreated.
there's a home remedy for it, you put a few drops of peroxide in there water along with some honey to sweeten it, it should help within a day or so, i'm trying it now, try having 11 dogs with it!!!!!!!!!!! and have no idea how they got it

You can put on "vicks plug" near where he sleeps it will helps and also you can rub his chest with a little vicks. Always try to clean his nose when he is all messy. I gave vitamine C and Echinacee on a daily basis until she got better.

Poor baby! Is he better now? My puppy was like that, when I got him. When it got very bad, I'd take him into the bathroom where I had a hot shower running. The steam in the air seemed to help break up the phlegm and soothe his airways.

you need to keep the dog isolated from others.this is a highly contagious disease. thats why the guy with 11 dogs probably got all of them sick. but this condition normally clears within 10-14 days. just try some antibiotics. but if the condition persist, take it to the vet for some advices as a badly affected dog may suffer lung damage if untreated.

there's a home remedy for it, you put a few drops of peroxide in there water along with some honey to sweeten it, it should help within a day or so, i'm trying it now, try having 11 dogs with it!!!!!!!!!!! and have no idea how they got it

My baby has just had an nasal spray vacine 2 weeks ago, and she has never been SICKER.. She now HAS kennel cough thanks to to the vets............

You can put on "vicks plug" near where he sleeps it will helps and also you can rub his chest with a little vicks. Always try to clean his nose when he is all messy. I gave vitamine C and Echinacee on a daily basis until she got better.

oh i am so glad that you posted this. i also have a bulldog puppy and she is doing the same thing. i took her to the vet today and they gave her some meds. will the vicks also help with her cough. i feel so sorry for them =(...poor puppies. Thanks again!!

Thanks for posting this video! I just had to call my vet who thinks my Westie might have Kennel Cough. After seeing your poor wee dog I'm certain thats what mine has as well.
