@dinizgames maybe its using the extra ram? on dreamcast his shadow does cast on to some objects. maybe the extra ram helps it to calculate more?

@iloveu4evergirl yea, games existed before Shenmue and had QTEs. Most of the Sega/Mega CD library had games that were nothing BUT QTEs.

But it's not perfect, it has a lot of flaws like any game. Like the poor dialogue, bad story pacing, sub par audio quality and a terrible ending.

I;m not saying it;s bad , it;s not it;s a fantastic game. But it is far from perfect. Very far.

@fonarte The dialogue is fine when played in Japanese, it feels disjointed in English, though. Ending was fine, the only thing that sucked about it is that you don't get to find out what happens after due to no Shenmue III.

and yes, disc 1, 2, 3 is correct. there were actually 4 discs but the 4th one was just bonus material that is not really needed.

Nulldc itself & some of the games will, but not Shenmue II as it is too powerful of a game.

open nulldc.cfg with notepad look for "BufferSize=1024" and change the numbers to either 2048 or 4096 .. ..i lag with 4096 a bit so i went with 2048 .. that's how i fixed mine :P

Блин я установил эмулятор все летает без проблем.Но вот одна фигня в первом шенму:когда я на улице днем хожу то рио какойто прозрачный, при этом в зданиях и ночью все ок.Как это решить?

А ты используешь nulldc видео плагин? Если да, то попробуй поотключать там разные настройки, к сожалению, давно это было, и уже не особо помню как и что.

Well its true they never really made an impact on the influence of QTE as much as Shenmue did thats for sure. Since they were so old and all and were basically just interactive cartoons on laser disc.

I'm playing Bourne Conspiracy on PS3 and its basically a QTE fest. mediocre but still pretty cool cause its fast paced.

haha okay question i just got nulldc everything works fine, but THEN! when im moving with ryo he keeps looking up and following the damned mouse, im using NullDC the latest one, and Xpadder with my Dual Action Logitech controller =/ any ideas on how to fix this? he keeps looking up or down or where the mouse is set at and it slowly keeps zooooming in

it's you control, set it to default or something i dont know if it's dpad or joy try between them.

Regardless of Dreamcast's age it has some classic games, for me the Shenmue series is one of the best in gaming history. A real technological acheivement at the time.
