MVHS 2007 - bass lick at camp

we have an 18 inch first bass, and i can't stand how she complains about how heavy it gets.. i play tenors, and they're about.. idk 40 pounds or so.. our first weighs 16.2.. WOW!! omg, she MIGHT need a back brace to keep her back from breaking.. -.-

Tenors do NOT weigh 40 pounds. They might weigh 30 at the very most.

I've seen some kids post comments saying their tenors weigh 65 pounds. Are you serious!? Try actually weighing them, not just guessing!

I don't mean to get technical, but what do you mean by "full size"? Is that supposed to be 6,8,10,12,13,14? And, are you including the cradle, backbar and harness?

yea, there's full size then junior size.. junior (if it has a shot) are 6, 8, 10, 12, 13.

full size, depending on how many shots, and even sometimes they have the same size shot head, but most common is 6, 8, 10, 12, 13 ,14.

and yea, the harness and no backbar.. u have to carry the harness so u have include that cuz ur carrying it.. i dont like mapex cuz they're so heavy..

i'd rather have yamaha or dynasty.

yeah you sacrifice all of you're sound though, yamaha drums in general sound terrible because the're isnt enough wood in them, and dynasty drums have to be cranked to get a good sound, pearl and mapex weigh alot but they actually sound like drums. and mapex drums are indestuctable

lol that's the thing i hate about dynasty drums is that they usually break the heads because they have to be tuned so high

haha the only things i dont like about dynasty are - that you have to crank em, and you have to retune then for every show, because the heads stretch - the rims arnt coated, so the paint wears down and the wood breaks
