i'll bet anything they were instructed to act this way. when i went there i just had this feeling everyone there was putting on a show. kinda creepy. im not saying that the government is anything like North Korea. im just saying that there might be more to the story

Honestly ,I first thougth he was going to be executed, I think that we westerners have a very narrow picture of China cause the only things we hear about in the news is about the growing economy, enviroment problem, oppressing of ethnic groups(uighurs, tibetans) and elitechildren in schools. Not so much about the normal chinese peoples life, the culture and the condition of living in China.

How absurd. You pick and take footage. China is a totalitarian nation which uses its police to suppress free speech. From the peaceful protesters who were shot in Tienanmen Square in 1989 to the jailing of bloggers- the Chinese Communist government-the single party in China, is intolerant to free speech and fundamental human rights.

I said compare this to american police. I didn't say anything about human right. look here, I went to china and saw the police there look very peaceful and at least they response to my question. while the american police, they don't even response to my question. I was asking about how to get to some place.

But that is only one select group of Chinese Police and one select group of American police which do not represent the overally nature of the greater Chinese or American forces. Use facts and statistics to draw conclusions, not one time, trivial encounters.

look, In china it is hard to expect the police to be good or bad because we already know their government is half good half bad. But in America, all police should know better. There shouldn't be any type of Police Brutality in America. The American need to restore their constitution. People rights, and liberty are being eroded everyday in America because of such abuse.

The fact is that China has achieved vast amounts under its liberalized economy, and the economy and democratic rights ARE progressing. However, it is difficult to compare the US and Chinese police- they both have two standards. American police are generally better and less corrupt than Chinese police, but there are numerous reasons relating to China's development and political system, history and culture that are partially responsible for this.
