Once someone in my class felt the need to make a remark about how I " can't get a girl". I explained that I choose not to waste my time on having a romantic partner just to have a teenage romance that lasts for a week tops and brings me no profit out of the experience at all. Then the entire class is calling me gay because I don't want a girl.

So true, I'm in school to become an M.A. and we are reading a book on medical law. When we take tests i understand the answers but if not written the exact way in the book it's considered wrong... Luckily our teacher is "understanding" and even she disagrees with some things in the book.

English lets you communicate what you want to say in a well thought out manner so that others may understand you (based on that comment, you could have paid some more attention to it in school). Biology teaches you what you're made of, and in turn, what other things are made of. Same with chemistry. Physics teaches you how the universe works.

If you study the ways civilizations have been run in the past, and the reasons for their downfall, it gives you great insight into how our civilization works, and the patterns that it is following. I am only 38 years and I remember when I was in grade school the books still said that when we whites got to America there were no people here, Just savage indians. That was going on at least as late as the 1980's. Oh, Yeah and columbus discovered America. He dixcovered the West Indies and there were a whole lot of people here already. I've had loads of people tell me that I'm an intelligent guy, including tutors in college (all of my coursework was apparently A material.) I could never be bothered with exams though, I never even bothered revising. They just seemed like a massive void of pointlessness to me (and the funny thing is that I "passed" some without even trying.) As Icke says all they prove is how well you can remember and regurgitate things onto a piece of paper.

It´s difficult for me to see what David Icke is talking about. I don´t really remember my past of schooling; we have ever been urged to think about future prosperity only (career, money). But I think the endoctrination worked well; we have long been exposed to illusions and lies that we can´t now easily see simple truth.

Formal education taught me to follow a specific, limited way of thinking. I was never, really naturally with the system and decided to do some REAL research and I found that most facts and historical events and many other beliefs I held were in fact a LIE or a Deception! We must remember that many "facts" found in textbooks are re-written LIES! Esp. in the history and religion areas. Luckily, today, we have the internet. I've read all of his books, and it's nowhere near as simple as 'man eating lizards rule the world' in fact on his latest DVD, it took a 3 hour presentation just to cover all the basics of this theory, your over-simplification puts the theory completely out of context. As someone who has been through the education system I've seen exactly what he describes here happen first hand, students become clones of their lecturers, teachers repeating inaccurate biased information. There are exceptions, but very few. What passes for education (at least here in the UK) is a complete joke. Educational systems are not in place to evolve humanity, they are there to impose obedience, indoctrinate the young and block independent thought!
