  • これ日本語じゃん(笑)

    singing japanese.

  • Does ANYone know what language this version of the song is in? I would REALLY appreciate if someone could be ABSOLUTE certain. People are commenting on here that it's German, Japanese, Finnish, but Google Translate shows that this language is Swahili so does ANYone have a 100% clue? Thanks! :)

  • @kalmanizer

    can say: it's no german.

Subtitle is german, but the song isn't

  • Uma ni matagari Deichi wo kakero!

Surudeu Manazashi, sono na wa Dschinghis Khan

    Kaze wo okoshi, isah-a juke!

    Hei wo hiki-i, abahrero!

    Sehkei wa, ore no mo-no!

  • Does anyone know where I can find more music where people are singing in Japanese with this type of voice? Strangely I am using this song to learn japanese and would like more material.

  • You know unlike the Romans, Huns, or even the British, Chinghis Khaan left such an imprint in history and the world that over 8 percent of the worlds genetic type can be traced to his lineage. I mean seriously this guy was building a legacy. How many women and children did he use to make such an inescapable impact on the population?

  • @LtCnlObvious Yes, your right!!! You will find parts of him everywhere, an you do not expect it!!

My former boyfriend had the so called "Mongolenfleck" / "Mongolish mark" on his backside. Alex is British, his parents live in Germany, his grandparents and all the forebears were "Sudetendeutsche", they lived in the german part of rumania.

Many of his forebears had this mongolish mark, too. That is an indication for Dschingis Khan relationship.

  • Dschinghis khan

  • first a German band made a song in pseudorussian "kazachok' style about Dschinhghis Khan. 'cause everybody thinks that Russian people are Asian. and then our northern neighbours, guys from Suomi made a guitar cover. nice) like this band/ They R crazy)

  • This was the German entry in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1979

  • wow it's like theyre YELLING IT

    great song!!!!!!!

  • Most masculine song in history.

  • disliked, only because this isn't porn, spam bastard

  • fuck you OP

  • en tiedä miksi mutta jostain tulee mieleen syvällistä viisautta sisältävä sanonta vain suomalainen ymmärtää japanilaista. en oikeasti tiedä miksi se mieleen tuli

  • Yeah! One of the worst epic german songs ever.... Just great interpretation!!!

  • not much to say.. its just funny. Macht immer wieder Spaß ;)

  • lmfao, dude mongols are asian to begin w/, and they don't act that stupid like in the video, but the warriors are savage and brutal, anywayz, the video is pretty cool

  • why they sing it in japanese?

    but,its cool.

  • To our defense. You guys seem to get the idea that Chinggis Khaan and mongolian warriors were just a cruel barbarians. But it requires a lot of skill to conquer the half of the world with less than 1 million soldiers.

  • i made some research and Genghis khan was both brutal general and hihgly competent leader

  • @Romamgl Horseback archers, man, furious shit there. They could storm villages faster than an alarm for defense could get out. Blitzkrieg at it's finest.

  • молодцы "ковбои" - лихо забабахали, круто старый хит освежили, мне понравилось

  • ghenghis was asian,... yet no one seems 2 give a shit about that in the video lol :P

  • the orginal version is fron the german band "genghis khan".they have only 2 hits in germany.the subtitle is german but not synchron.

the cover is singing in finish.

  • The band Genghis Khan have more than 2 songs...

  • i said 2 hits not songs

  • Odd enough, this one seems to be sung in japanese. Makes me wonder if it's the cowboys at all. And if it is, then those guys are mind-blowingly multitalented.

  • oh and don't forget that the lead singer of that German group is actually South African......

  • oh, and the subtitle is german :D

  • a finnish band, who pretend to be russian sings a japanese song about a mongol khan. Now that's what i call multi-cultural :D

  • You forget that the original song was german as well;)

  • whos the original artist?

  • Dschinghis Khan, look them up

  • @rangertomi: You forgot about the german lyrics ^^

  • @rangertomi This is originally a German song. It was a number one hit in Japan, though. ;-)

  • @rangertomi Its even a Swedish song originally..

  • @KapteinOpel It's not a swedish song, it's a german song, originally performed by the band "Dschighis Khan"

  • @rangertomi its german language

  • @jest224

No, its in Japanese. Original was germany.

  • @rangertomi

+ Dschinghis Khan is , if i remember , a German group xD

  • @rangertomi - u forgot to tell that the lyrics r from a german .....

  • @rangertomi

you forgot the german subtitles! XD

  • @rangertomi This song was German originally

  • @rangertomi It's a german song actually

  • @rangertomi

japanese cover of a german song.

    >.> <.<

  • @rangertomi Singing in German, no less.

  • @rangertomi true.... but if you do some research on the finnish-soviet war sometimes referred to the Winter War, some Fins that lived on the border spoke russian, and wanted the soviets to expand in finland.... Finland being severely outnumbered in all spectrums, KICKED THE HOLY SHIT OUT OF THE USSR...

  • geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllllll ..........i love this band ......... what can i say what can i dooooooooo... i love it

  • It's a cover of a German song about Mongolians by a Finnish band in Japanese.

  • and therefore, this song = win

  • How multi-cultural can you get :o)# They rock.

  • and Berryz Koubou in Japan did a song based on it too...look it up...it's so cool.

  • I will, thank you.

  • Hello again. I think it's really cool. And the girls are really cute.

  • A Finnish band which pretends to be Russian!

  • That is the point!

  • Sweet voice.

  • Yeah right! HOHOHOHO The Leningrad Cowboys Rock

  • Poooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon

  • cute ;]

    but why in japanese?

  • I beliave the Leningrad Cowboys were big in Japan for a while, most things have been.

What I find interesting though, is that the subtitles are in German.

  • Dsching..bla bla is a GERMAN band. This is a COVER song in Finnish.

  • Wrong.Vikingarna is a SWEDISH band but theres a GERMAN band who call themselves "Die Vikinger" that play only COVER versions of vikingarna in german. But this is a cover version sung in japanese by finnish band Leningrad Cowboys...

  • WHOAHWHOAHWHOAH, Leningrad Cowboys? Dshinghis Khan, as in the band? :D

  • Leningrad Cowboys is a Finnish band.

  • Great ;)

  • Frederikin versio on paras :D

  • Savage often vanquish civilization.

I like this song, because my barbaric emotion rise.

  • which album is this on? I can't seem to find it on any of the ones I have

  • "Mongolian barbeque"('97). But JAPANESE version only.

  • finish?

  • Yes,Leningrad Cowboys is a finnish group. But they're singing "Dschinghis Khan" on Japanese.

    HA-HA HA-HA!

  • Leningrad Cowboys - Dschinghis Khan (Japanese Bonus Track)

    full name

  • Idiots. Thats a fun song song, and you made an history diskussion out of it and affront you opposite. thats stupid (notice: i dont say, you are stupid, i say THATS stupid)

  • the subtitle is german but the audio is clearly japanese.. believe me!! i'm 100% sure

  • it`s terrible;long live the real band Dschingis Khan or the band Rockin Son

  • History instruct, Bonaparte has given us example how to combat with Russia our biggest enemy for centuries.

Frenchmens hate him and compare him to Hitler just like rest fuckikng communist UE. Now you are dump Frechgay.

  • you fucking idiots do realize that you're only proving my point by giving me thumbs down?

  • lol you are dump i'm not french u cock sucker hehehehehhehe go back to school and learn more europeen lanuages you fuckin duch :P

  • hej pedałki a co za różnica czyj to język najważniejsze o kim to jest hehehehe

hey fagots what's the difference whose language is this, the most importent thing is about who this song is hehehehehe

    Imperium Khan atakuje hehehehe

  • NOT german

  • musically by far the best version of this song yet.

  • This song isnt finnish or japanese related. Its in German and sung about Gengis Khan. Made originally by a disco German group, Dschinghis Khan.

  • Actually, while the original song is German, this version is very very clearly in German. If you pay attention to the German lyrics on the video, and listen to words being sung, they are vastly different.

There have been many Japanese covers of this song, and from listening to it, I'm fairly sure this is one of them.

Anyway, to Hpbt337: Thanks for the upload!

  • Whoops! That's supposed to say "this version is very clearly not in German." Proofreading before submitting is a good idea... >.>;

  • This is obviously German. It's just sung in a... Mongolian style, I guess.

  • That's japanese to me.

  • . . . im just not going to say anything.

  • i guess it's an imaginary language...

    like i sometimes do ~^^

  • I´m from Finland, and I can say it´s DEFINITELY not Finnish, and not even german. Sounds more like pig latin to me...

  • Yeah, that's not Finnish.

A finnish guy called Frederik (real name Ilkka Sysimetsä) recorded Dschinghis Khan (Tsingis-Khan in Finnish) in 1979.

    "Tsing, Tsing, Tsingis-Khan

    Kaikkien naapurikansojen alistaja

    Tsing, Tsing, Tsingis-Khan...

    ...Sapelia käytti

    Hah, hah, hah,haa..."

I haven't heard Finnish version for a while.

  • Cool song. But this is NOT the Leningrad Cowboys. They did a version of "Moskau", but not this song (at least as far as I know).

  • It was a bonustrack of the album titled "MONGOLIAN BARBECUE" sold in Japan.

Sounds feel strong or loud, but I think they're singing in not so bad Japanese.

  • it's not japanese~

  • Leningrad Cowboys is a Finnish band.

  • Dschin Dschin Dschinghis Kahn

    Let's drink let's eat let's sing let's dance

    Dschin Dschin Dschinghis Kahn

    Let's drink let's eat let's sing let's yell

    We are the genius

    WA HA HA HA

    You are the meriocre

    TO HO HO HO

    Erect your cockscomb

    The life is drunkunness

  • omg fucking morons

  • it dont sound like japanese to me.. sounds like russian or really really poor finnish...

  • Oh my

    So I guess Finnish can't always sound pretty . . . assuming it's Finnish.

  • As a finn I can say, they didn't sing Finnish... at least I could understand the subtitles better than what they sang, so based on that. It was closer to Chinese or something, I dunno

  • haha, well as a Chinese person, I can tell you that's not any Chinese dialect I know of.

So now we know it's not German, Russian, Finnish, or Chinese . . . I know an Estonian group that covered this song but it doesn't sound like that or Finnish since I know the languages are relatively similar.

  • they sing it in japanese :)

    x

  • Thank you for clarifying! I thought I was going to go nuts if I didn't figure it out.

  • no thanks :D

    x

  • hu ha hu ha

    xD

  • Is that Russian? Those are definitely NOT the original German lyrics.
