You need to replace the tire on the idler wheel so you won't get that thumping sound from the turntable. Any good hardware store has O rings of different sizes.

Magnetic cartridges first came to use in the 1950's. You're correct, Little Brown Jug but my record is a re-issue 78 with recording by Glen Gray.

I Have Two Questions For You.The First One Being When Were Magnetic Cartridge Introduced,And What Was The First Record That You Played In This Video Beacuse It Sounds Like Glenn Millers "Little Brown Jug" At The Beginning?

The original cartridge used steel needles, I replaced the original crystal cartridge with an Astatic 51. Better sound, Lighter and doesn't grind down the records.

Not much. Most of these early wireless record players were advertised as having a 50 foot range, I've found The signal drops and fades just a few feet from the radio it's transmitting to (1400 Khz. ) The strongest& clearest signal is achieved by setting the antenna wire from the player next to/under the radio. I have a 1942 Philco wireless player that behaves the same way.
