I was shocked how world of warcraft fucked everything up. When they brought Illidan back to life i said 'fuck no..' When they brought Arthas's father, the naive old man back to and intelegent ghost, i said 'fuck that!'. Both are evil because of the evil power of a demon (Sergaras I think) that is the "creator" of the Lich King. Like in the cinematics, Frostmourne (the Lich King Sword - also full of demoniac powers) drove him crazy.

I'm assuming the player is the captain; just like how in starcraft 1 (not broodwar) the player is represented by the Cerebrate in the zerg campaign and Artanis in the protoss campaign.

Nah, he (Muradin) was injured by the ice shard thrown out from Frostmourne, probably caused by the Lich King.. Arthas could have saved him easily but was absorbed by his surge to finish off Mal'Ganis instead... So there obviously was a god reason to Muradin's death, both caused by the Lich King and Arthas
