are a lot of the maps on cod actually based on films? outskirts looks a lot like that scene in saving pvt ryan with the church tower and bridge etc. also the sniper mission on waw is exactly like the sniper scene on enemy at the gates.

i wanted to do the scene where Tom Hanks shoots the hank with the pistol and it blows up, but you'd have to coordinate an artillery, very well to simulate the air strike. Or you could get 2 people to throw satchels on the back have a guy in last stand, then time the satchels and pistol just right.
