The reason they cut you off was probably the wait time would have been a VERY long time and they didn't want to foot the bill for the 800# call on hold.
I had to call them at least 20 time on Monday until I spoke with a live person. When I finally got through, I had wait 35 minutes fir someone then 30 more minutes to talk to a supervisor. Overall they finally helped with a flight out of JFK on Tuesday 1/4/2011.
Wait. You wanted to make reservations? Why didn't you just do it online?

JetBlue has probably lost me as a customer. They really can't handle snowstorms at all!
