Awesome job, where is the fuel injected at? before or after the turbo? do you use an electronic injector or gravity fed? How fast have you gone in it and any death wobbles at high speed? be careful that pipe looks red hot.

The afterburner fuel is injected after the turbo (in to the burner tube)

It is pressure fed from the cold side of the turbo

It drives ok considering the weight over the rear axle

Acording to my sat nav it has been over 60 mph on a short section of road

I work on C130 Turboprop engines in the airforce, but heres how a Afterburner works. In the back of the engine, there are fuel jets that are formed like a ring around the inside of the engine. When the air pressure from the engine goes by these fuel jets, and spark ignitors go off, a huge flame flies out the back of the engine and the back of the engine can converge and diverge creating thrust.

Dude, you should open-mindedly research ufos and try to work your way up from jet engines to anti-gravitational amplifiers and symbiotic engines. the afterburner is basically an extension of the exhaust section/ nozzle, usually in a convergent shpe to maximize thrust output, inside there is a set of fuel nozzles and a ring called a flame holder to keep the fire centered along with the airflow..at least thats kinda how i know it as lol

Great video... but you might want to invest in some titanium instead. For the strength-to-insulative ratio, titanium will hold up the best and prevent fatigue overtime from the overheating of the compression chamber
