Yo, Zip, I grew up in Marblehead, just next to Salem. Lots of the old seacaptain's houses have rooftop terraces called "Widows Walks". When we were kids on Hallereen we'd watch for widows walking. Sometime's we'd see one. Spooky. Only when I was much bigger did I learn that the owners of the house dressed up and did the walk to scare us kids. It worked. Did you see the popcorn man on Salem common? Or his ghost?
