People, people, the Katrina disaster was not Bush's fault -- deal with it. He declared a state of emergency before the storm hit, which freed up funds for dealing with whatever they might need. At the time, that was all that was needed, because the levies held until 3 days after the storm hit!!! What did you want Bush to do? Fly in and repel from a helo to rescue people from their roofs? The blame for the Katrina debaucle should be placed squarely on Mayor Nagin, who failed to call for an emergency evacuation and left more than 70 school buses and city buses sitting in parking lots to flood! Gee bru after much research about Palin i'm more convinced she is stupid--however she has learned the answer to what papers do you read--Those trick questions by the liberals weren't fair. However when Mccains people were shocked at how ignorant she is in US history it did give me pause..You?? Korea is a toughie, why there are two, north and south. Obama's a fuckup, plain and simple. Health care "reform" is a failure, the thing that most people wanted (public option) isn't even included in the bill anymore. Obama stated he would end earmarks and pork barrel spending; read the bill it''s positively FULL of both. Really though, amongst all this what else could we expect from a Chicago politician? As far as Obama declaring martial law and taking dictatorship, liberals were saying the same thing about Bush and I disliked Bush/most repubs.

Doubled border patrol spending, and ordered troops to the border
Identified illegals in jails and prisons, and is sending them back
opened talks with NKorea, Iran, Cuba and Myamar.
Revised the Europe missle defense, made it more effective, and quicker in deployment, and not piss off Russians

He may have revised the Europe missile defense system, but he left allies in Eastern Europe, namely Poland without defense that we promised them. Ask them how they like us now. As far as Russia, they still hate us, but now disrespect us too.
As far as a better rep for the US in the world.. . . I think some are rethinking that. The worship has worn off and most don't like him any better than they did Bush. But, at least they respected the power of the US when Bush was in office.

Try and grasp this. An act of terror does'nt require a death, it simply has to instill terror, which it did to those involved, along with all who fly, for whom this adds anxiety. No one died ONLYb/c of the passengers and by the grace of god. "does'nt" isn't a word, but "doesn't" is. Since you're gullible enough to believe in it, you should at least capitalize "God" when you reference it. Oh, and it's comprendé...learning is fun!

Actually, it was the Democrat Governor's place to ask for the Nat. Guard's help to initiate the process. And Democrat Mayor Nagin didn't have the sense to use the idle buses to get the people out. All of this would have been moot it the Democrat-controlled leadership in La. had not, over the years, diverted the funds that were supposed to go for levee upkeep. Most of the mainstream media refused to cover this, as usual.
